The 16 Pro Max doesn’t have the metal encased battery oddly, fyi. Maybe Apple figures it’s less likely to overheat and already has crazy long life. Will be interesting to see how the battery health compares down the road between the models.

I’d broken my 12 but the second 14 Pro had macro I was sold I love macro photos they’re one of my favourite to shoot with and the ultra wide camera was already good for taking stupid photos of your friends and wide angle landscape photos. That said I’ll be upgrading to the 16 Pro soon and I can’t wait tbh especially for the AI features and will hopefully use Siri more knowing that it’ll be much more useful for executing specific instructions

I love the capture button but really wish they’d let me disable it ONLY WHEN NOT IN THE CAMERA APP. So in the camera app (or others I specify such as Snapchat), it would still work as a capture button (and zoom and all that). But when on the Home Screen for example it would do nothing. They need to add extra buttons to the iPhone, even though their philosophy has always been to remove buttons. I'm sure Jony Ive would have had a different approach. However, Apple is lacking innovation on the iPhone 16 that they are actually reversing their philosophy by adding more buttons, like an "Action button" and a "Camera Control button." Of course, these are haptic buttons, but they are still adding extra components instead of taking them away, as Apple usually would
