The base model iPhones this year are far more feature rich in capable than previous years and as far as spec level is concerned it's closer than ever before to the pros, so for the majority of people it's the one to get, especially in teal.

I was going to, but I went with the Pro in white. I am obsessed with the 120 hz and they always-on display. My pro phone can handle multiple apps open in the background. 200 extra bucks are worth it. I upgraded from an iPhone 13 mini (white) and my mind is blown 🤯 my phone is so fast 😊

I just got the base 16 in Teal today. Came from a Pixel 8 pro and loving the small size. I’m not really even noticing the 120hz to 60hz either.

I really wanted that ultramarine iPhone ;( but apple forced me to get the pro. I wouldn’t mind 60 hz but I always wanted the always on display. I don’t need to touch my find to check if I received any notification ;)

Ultramarine is such an awesome color and the 16 is so light weight, that I switched over from the 16 Pro. I look for comfort nowadays, not using half the Pro features anymore. Love it, effortless to pick up, and a joy to look at just laying on my desk. Gives off a fun vibe, while the 16 Pro is awesome but feels really dense and oddly top-heavy from the camera bump, so it's not really that pleasing to hold as the 16 is. To each their own, but the ultramarine 16 is where it's at this year.

Tbh this battery life is good enough for me. Without the navigation and far fewer photos in a day it's definitely lasting a whole day. I hope OEMs keep making compact phones with similar battery life

The moment I could tell it was shot on the 16 was in low light which it looked like it struggled with but with plenty of light, I honestly wouldn't have known. The only thing holding the base 16 back is its 60hz display but outsides of that it would have been the perfect base model upgrade

Hey, a bit of feedback, sound deadening the rest of your studio(backroom is fine lol) might be a great idea for the A-rolls in your studio! Maybe you could add some stuff to the white walls, and it could be a fun challenge to try to keep the industrial setting alive with the addition of deadened sound, no echoing in the main room and the stage would add a lot to your audio, I think.

I would love the base model if it wasn't so tiny. It doesn't even have 120hz. If it at least had 120hz it would have maybe been considered like the pro model, but fundamentally 6.1 inch is too small for me. When I downsized from 6.7 to 6.1, I thought I would get over the difference. I haven't in a year. I doubt I'll get over it until my contract expires next year. I feel like everyone posts about how they went from bigger phones to smaller phones and how they love it, but people don't really post about the reverse. I hate that this screen is so small because iOS is absolutely beautiful and the display is amazing. The base model's size really takes away from those aspects especially when you consume content.
