The face id camera is rumored to be under the glass, and they are finally supposed to upgrade the front facing camera to 24mp. For me, there is no difference between the 13 and 16 other than the island and small hardware changes, and small software changes. I don't plan on upgrading until i am forced to or a completely redesigned iPhone comes out (mainly, the ultra). Then, with how Apple is, they will just rename the Pro Max to Ultra and leave the design the same. Which is what Samsung did with the Note/S23.

Yea and no. I would say that if you have iPhone 13 Pro or newer, don’t upgrade if it’s going to cost you any money. I have had every iPhone since the 13 pro and I have never paid to upgrade it. Most carriers will give you trade credit worth what the new iPhone costs. Technically I haven’t paid for an I phone since the 13 came out in 2021.

Quoting what was said at around 8:30, I am watching this and still don't want to replace my Android Samsung phone from 2020 that I bought on Black Friday for less than 500 USD, as it has a 120 Hz screen, while Apple charges over 1000 USD for a basic iPhone 16 (here in Europe) and STILL does not offer what pretty much any Android for 300 USD or more has been offering for several years... I mean, yeah, I have a Macbook Pro through work and bought an iPad more than 5 years ago, so I wanted to have the whole Apple package, but this is ridiculous. And since I bought an older Samsung Watch this year for less than 100 USD, I guess I will be using my Samsung phone+watch for a couple of more years until Apple offers something better for their price.

I have a pink base iPhone 15. And to be honest? I have the option on my cell plan to immediately upgrade - I don’t want to. Last year I ditched android for iOS fully (I have an iPad Air 4. Two Apple TV 4Ks and a watch series 9). I just got fed up with Sony only giving their Xperias on average two years of updates. I didn’t want a Xperia 1 V as my 1 mk 3 is a powerhouse. That fone I use as a DAP. And sometimes for the photography and cinema pro apps) I also have a first gen Xperia 1 (in purple). I had an XZ1 compact before that. Love the Xperia phone line. It’s just Sony REALLY need to sort out their support and the skin for android OS. Xperia 1 mk 3 was SUPPOSED to get one more update. In the 🇬🇧, we didn’t get it. And as used to iPads over the last six years - transition was easy as I didn’t have to radically learn the OS The audio mix feature on the 16 pro appeals. But I’m still not sold. My iPhone 15 has been a great little workhorse. I don’t care if Sony did an Xperia with updates for next 5yrs. I still won’t go back. Sorry this reply was a sonnet. Stay safe.

I have an iPhone 11 currently, and I got it new in early 2022, but I’m debating on upgrading, so I have a tier list of possible options: 1. iPhone 16 2. iPhone 15 Pro/Max 3. iPhone 16 Pro/Max 4. iPhone 15 I put iPhone 15 Pro/Max over the next two because it should be the same price as the iPhone 16 or cheaper new with carriers having deals and trying to sell them off, but it’s basically the same as the iPhone 16 with some Pro features and no Capture Button (ok with it). Any thoughts, comments, or opinions?

I have a 13 and was waiting to this event to decide. I think after this reveal I think I’ll get a 15 instead of the 16. The Pros/max aren’t for me.

i don't see any Iphone 15 Pro/Max on the Apple website anymore. they've probably discontinued it.

@@mirflurry The 16 does have a better chip and battery but that’s all I saw as improvements. I’m not sure I like the changes to how the exterior buttons for the camera. Honestly, I’m not a fan of the Apple Intelligence. In the end, I felt more comfortable getting the 15.

Have 14 Pro Max...Apple never really knocks it out of the park year after year....but this year the whole event and line up seemed boring to be honest....as long as u can update to the IOS18 whats the purpose upgrading the hardware...

Do people still not realise that Apple make small upgrades every year? The best thing to do is upgrade every 3 years so you get a decent upgrade.

As an iPhone 15 Pro Max owner… what an absolute joke. I wasn’t expecting crazy big changes but wow…. This turned out to be worse than I actually expecting.

Anyone that upgrades on a yearly basis is basically doing an “s” upgrade because there are only small upgrades yearly.
