I honestly think you should get a iPhone 16 if you have never had a iPhone or you have a iPhone 12 or older. Other than that if you have a 14 or 15 then don't upgrade unless you just have to have the latest and greatest.

currently have iPhone 7 (128), planning for iPhone16 (128),I have decent to little mobile usage [mostly listening to songs or YT podcasts, not much into mob gaming (60hHz is not an issue)* ,type- C 2.0 is neither an issue as I rarely have stuff to transfer across devices and slow charging is fine with me as anyways the battery health is much better with regular charging speed], as mostly I spend my time on Mac. So that should be suffice and should last good for atleast next 5 years.

I have a 13 PM and love it but the glass back is cracked. Upgrading this year. I’m thinking of getting the 16 pro because of the pro motion and smaller screen. 6.7 is annoying at times so I can’t imagine having a 6.9 phone size. Plus $200 more is just not worth it for me. Only downside is the battery. I’m essentially loosing 18% of battery each charge by getting a 16 pro from 13 PM. 🤷🏼 I keep fighting my decision haha

I’v been using the XS for 6 years …wanted to upgrade to 16, as it looks so nice with just two cameras…however, when scrolling it felt the same as my XS…so ended up with the 16 Pro, it feels much more professional.. and much quicker when scrolling and typing.. the only thing I don’t like and feel is a downgrade is the weight it’s actually a little too heavy for my liking, even the XS was a little heavy all these years.. hopefully I will get used to it..

That new camera control button could be useful if you're taking a lot of photos. But other than that, unless you need 4k 120 fps slow motion recording, yourr fine with the 15 pro max.

Thank you, just found and subscribed to your channel, watched your 15 color comparison before this. I LOVED the ProMax 14 in the purple. Easily favorite color out of ALL generations of iPhones. However I'm still on my 12 ProMax and seems pointless to do a 14 to save $100 (if can even find new) which seems near impossible and I don't want refurbished. Usually there is a standout color that I just love and am like that is the one. Like I said the Purple was that color, this year there isn't a color that just screams to me that's the color. My 12 I did the BlueGreen (forget what apple called it). 15 it was the Blue Titanium for me. This year there isn't a single color in the entire 16 lineup (standard or pro) that is calling me and I'm struggling with color, but ready to upgrade from my 12. Dessert titanium seems to be the 'apple color' of the year on the pro, but I've never been a 'gold' person in any respect so that's probably my least favorite. Considering the other 3 colors were all available on the 15 I just don't know. I like the 'silver' look of the 'white titanium' but hate the 'white' side of that, I absolutely hated the white iPhones in the early generations. So kind of think maybe I'm between the 'natural titanium' and the 'black titanium' but not sure which. Kind of leaning the 'natural' mostly cause I think might give more case options, kind of leaning maybe one of the clear or semi clear cases and think on those the black will just be super dark and just look like you have a black case on your phone. The other reason kind of leaning that way I have a titanium wedding band. :) But then small part is like maybe I should really just leap in the deep end and go for the dessert titanium. Sorry for the long message, hoping some of your other followers might benefit from my thought process or maybe you or others might care to way in on what color I should go with. Haven't decided on case but thinking possibly popsocket 'koi' or the Otterbox Defender Series Pro XT for MagSafe in 'Denver Dusk Purple'.

Really need someone to give a good display comparison between 6.1” to 6.3” and the 6.7” to 6.9” sizes. Are they significantly larger to notice more content or is the extra screen just wasted display space around the edges? I think it just depends on if you think you’ll use the features coming. Most people I believe will not see the benefit initially, but maybe 6 months or so down the line. Siri will finally be a useful tool with ChatGPT integration + the writing assistance will come in handy. It will just be sad that people will not gain knowledge by depending on it.

If you're tired of Android, consider switching to iPhone, unless you're happy with it. I used flagship Android phones for 11 years, but eventually got tired and switched to iOS. It was tough at first, but once I got used to it, I never wanted to switch back. Things might change in the future, so always wait for reviews. iOS doesn't offer as much customization as Android, but as we get older, we don't use all of Android's features anyway. @@chite89I have the 16 pro max and I can go all day without charging my phone and it runs way cooler compared to the 15 pro max which I used to own and it would get hot to the touch

Anything less than 120hz frame rate on a phone in (after) 2024 is criminal. For that reason only the pro and pro max are reasonable options.

I need help. Going to buy a new phone but not sure which. Currently considering 15 pro max 16 plus and 16 pro. 6.1 inch screens feel so small in my hand and feels funny. 16 PRO is 6.3 but still dont know if it will satisfy me. 16 plus because it is a new year model and has 6.7 screen.
