That would be amazing. I only upgrade when the camera does. Normally I'd skip this one as it stands, but I got a lemon last year, so I'll take advantage of Verizon's pay 1/2 trade in. I don't think there will be a zoom upgrade, but I sure am hoping.

10x optical will be low-aperture and with small sensor size, it would be much better if they will do a 48 mp 5x (120mm) telephoto lens and use a bigger sensor (at least 1/2.55, but ideally - an 1/1.56 or 1/1.4” like vivo x100 ultra does) and due to this you can crop to 10x without quality loss. also it would be nice if apple install floating lens so you could shot a normal macro with telephoto but not ultra wide camera, with better proportions and better fov for macro. for example sony xperia vi can focus on 120 mm lens just in 5 cm

The blue color is a clear favorite. I'm surprised that color would be unavailable for the 16. I think that Gold/Bronze color is ok but not as good as the blue color.

The main problem i had with 14PM is the battery life degradation due to only doing wireless charging over a case. My battery life is at 85%. Now i have stopped doing that and use a 60W power bank. Havent seen any degradation since using this. Rumors are that the new models are going to be better with heat

They actually are different and it IS a thing. Fake or faux leather uses mostly petroleum-based plastic (the kind that’s really bad for the environment) and “vegan” leather uses organic/plant-derived materials. While neither is “real” leather in the sense of typical animal-derived leathers, there are differences.

I’m going to upgrade from my 13 Pro Max to 16 Pro Max because the battery was getting below 80% max capacity and all those slight upgrades together will add up to big value for me. Yeah it’s still a very fluid phone (the 13 series) I bought it back then because it was the first with 120Hz displays for apple phones and it really was a game changer and holds up well till now. So I definitely understand people who still hold onto their 13 pro/max this year!

I keep hearing 60 hz for the regular 16, but I’m not convinced. If the SE comes out in the spring with 6.1” oled and A18, it will eat the regular 16 alive. The 16 needs something more than an extra camera and island. The Pros already have a longer list of extra features to justify that hike.

I did this last year, after 8 years on Android I sold my s22 ultra and got the 15PM. I missed a few things in the beginning but iOS 18 beta is nice and brought features that helped me adapt better. Hopefully you like the 16PM 😊

All I can say on iOS 18 on the latest public beta. My iPhone 13 Pro has constant issues when activating game mode causing frequent app crashes and slow downs. And sometimes is crashes and truetone has various problems and randomly kicks in to the max. But other than that no problems!

Otherwise I wouldn’t have upgraded. But I am so happy with this iPhone. The camera is just amazing and Dynamic Island is also really nice to have. Love it :)

I’m just really hoping they upgrade the thermals I hope that little graphene sheet gets the job done because as a power user and being outdoors a lot my 15 pro max can barely keep up with me, it’s gets stuck it also gets stuck when typing and extremely hot when outside under normal use, not to mention cameras, had the phone scanned from Apple it’s fine and even factory reset and clean install ios17 and 18 and it still tends to run hot.

Thanks for the video, Aaron. Sidenote, The cause of my M2 MacBook errors, restarts and colonel panics I was experiencing, was tied to a bad lid angle sensor, about a nine dollar part. So if you experiencing similar issues, you might want to take that into an Apple Store and have that looked at. Machine will restart to the login screen, and come up with a kernel panic message when you login.

Apple is so petty with the Gigabyte storage. It’s like they’re in denial that micro SS cards have had 1tb for 4 years now and 1.5tb exists maybe higher. That’s Apple these days, 5 years behind on features, and some that they even pioneered: TouchID, camera zoom, digital assistant(Siri), etc. On Bluetooth, I really want the ability to turn devices on or off. It’s great that I can control these things wirelessly but I still have to get up and physically turn it off and on. It’s like the first feature any wireless device is supposed to have. Turning on might be tougher than off but at least give us that! Especially when multiple devices connect to one thing. It would be so great to tell Siri to turn on/off.

My favourite colour was the deep purple of the iPhone 14 Pro. That lured me away from the Sierra Blue of the iPhone 13 Pro. Sad but true. Then the 15 Pro came out with lighter weight and USB-C. The advantages of the 15 Pro made me trade my 14 Pro in for the Titanium Blue. Unfortunately, there are no features or colour in the 16 Pro lineup that is making me consider one. For me, it’s time to skip a generation. I’m excited to see what happens to the Apple Watch Ultra this year.

Pretty disappointing to see there is a lack of AirPods Max 2. When the first model was released in 2020 I already had the Sony XM3’s so i held off. At this point, I’ll still wait for the AirPods Max 2 - I don’t want to revert back to a lightning charger. All my devices now are USB-C including all more work issued equipment. I absolutely hate the lightning charger as it is ridiculously outdated to current standards now days and for a $500+ headphones, that is unacceptable in 2024. I want to ‘future proof’ myself and wait for the updated design.

@@ahfa2010 nope. Keynote just dropped this morning and USB-C update to the Max. Nothing else but I’ll take it and buying them after the keynote. 🤙🏻
