I was torn between black and natural. Had black iPhones since forever. Decided to go with natural. I love that stone grey vibe. Natural looks the most premium imo but black looks the most stealthy. I think natural is a ‘natural’ progression from black when exploring new colours. I think many people don't like desert titanium because they're thought that should darker than apple advertisement. but if you choose the right case for desert titanium. In my opinion dark color case such as Black , Navy , Dark Brown will show the camera bump and ring color. Look stunning. Try this.

I think that’s what I’m going with. It’s either black or natural titanium. I’m going from a regular 12 to the 16 pro so I’ll have to get used to extra camera lens. Ordering it Friday. Can’t decide on a case( do NOT like castify) but I’m leaning towards the mous limitless 6.0 in marble or black Aride. I want a case that protects my phone, any suggestions? I have an otterbox symmetry series with my 12 and the back of my phone shattered. Also, the case is just falling apart.

In my opinion black titanium bezel blends too much with a screen bezel making it look bigger than on other colors. My favorite is the white one but I do agree with you that something about this silver bezel feels a bit off

Its been like that for white/silver colors the frame is too bright and looking cheap. Its a bit better today with the titanium compared to stainless steel before. I agree with black it adds to the bezels thickness I mean look at the black regular iPhone 16.

Nice one. I got the black because I got to use with a case. With a clear case I think the black looks the best and white the second. With a white case, white looks the best but the white case would hold stains and then will look dirty. With case the desert titanium would not show of its transitional colours and then it will look washed off. Natural is boring.

I would have went for black but when I went to the shop I noticed the black had scratches which appeared white. Made them really prominent compared to the other colours. I also don’t want a case but I think those white scratches would annoy me and cheapen the look.

Went to the store and was impressed with how the black looked, however there were a lot of scuffs and scrapes over the back black glass , not sure how much force was required, but it was scary , no doubt about it

Same thing with the iPhone 16 colors. I think they just weren’t careful putting them on display but it makes you realize what it could look like if you do not use a case. This is why i think the white models are best this year.

Black makes the bezels look much bigger. Silver makes the bezels look even thinner, with how bright it is. Sometimes the device looks bezel-less when used Natural titanium is for those who can’t decide between black or white. It blends in too much

One week later with my natural titanium and I love it! I made the right choice. The black is very dark in person and had a space gray with black glass XS before this and it got boring. White is clean but I like the subtle hues of the uncoated titanium and I think it’s the most durable

Thank you for the very thorough analysis! For me... I would rank them this way: 1. White, 2. Desert, 3. Black, 4. Natural. I always gravitate to clean, bright colors so white is right there. However, white can be a bit stark, vacant. Desert is this year's "fun" color and I like it. I do wish it was a little more copper or gold but overall I think it's compelling. Black is the "standard" and this is why I never buy black phones. It's clean and neat but very boring. Everything in life comes in black so I tend to try and avoid it as much as possible. I like the sides of the natural but it's not enough to take away from the gray back which I really don't care for. This is just my personal opinion, not trying to make anyone else feel bad. Realistically, they are all fine.

You completely match my feelings on the Desert Titanium: the back is disappointing - I was expecting a more orange and vibrant tone that more closely resembles the "Desert" wallpaper they released for the 16 lineup - but the titanium frame on the edges is gorgeous. It reminds me of the Coral color option that the Galaxy Note 7 (RIP) came with...a really gorgeous copper tone.

As a woman, I really like the desert titanium, actually, I got it over a week ago and still look amazed at it. I think that it really pops with more softer/pastel cases or like a brownish. The shine is very appealing to me and this mix of beige and rose. I don't think I'll ever be bored of it. Right now, I have a clear case with details on it and it looks sooo good. Actually can't understand why someone would not like it :(

Ah ok. It’s not just me then 😅. I live in metro Atlanta and black titanium is sold out & back ordered in all capacities everywhere near me. Closest Apple Store with availability is in Alabama! I thought I was doing something by ordering black, but it seems like EVERYONE ordered black. This also happened to me 2 years ago, when I ordered the iPhone 14 Pro in white, thinking nobody would want it. It was back ordered for like 5 weeks. 🤦🏾‍♂️
