I am stuck between desert and white, I like the brown tones and the bezels in the desert but some people say that in person and in natural lighting the phone itself looks rose pink instead of golden brown toned?

I wholeheartedly agree. It's essentially the same phone as the 15 Pro (Max) except there's a Camera Control button and a larger display. I came to the iPhone 15 Pro Max from a 14 Pro Max. Before that, I had an 11 Pro Max. I think upgrading every year is a lot of money, and not a lot of bang for your buck. It's expensive, and time-consuming getting the phone set up the way you like it. I plan on keeping my 15 Pro Max two more years. The iPhone 18 Pro Max should have some more interesting upgrades. If you're coming from an iPhone 14 Pro Max or earlier, I think the upgrade to the 16 Pro Max would be more compelling. Regarding color choice, I'd agree that the Desert Titanium would be more distinctive. In the end, I say go for the color you like.

I am rocking the 14 Pro Max in Deep Purple and I’ll be skipping the 16 series. Maybe 17 next year. By the way big Phil what do you think of all the AI features not available on day one? I personally feel Apple is playing catch up compared with Android flagships. Maybe 17 will be the successor.
