People don't understand that most of the battery tests are conducted at the maximum brightness each phone has to offer. While Mrwhoistheboss measures the brightness of each device and keeps it at a constant nit level, making it fair for all phones. Even here, you can see that Samsung is very bright compared to other devices. This means that Samsung is pushing its maximum brightness performance, which drains more battery. I think people just comment without understanding the main cause.

These test are just to prove the over all battery of the phones. But the reality is in the way you use the phone. Depending on that, a phones battery lasts. If you do heavy tasks battery will drain faster. If not the slower. Due to which these tests give you knowledge of how much a phone can last. But in the real life usage it may turn out different.

I tested both the 16 pro max and s24 ultra at the store today and I still think the s24 ultra is way more fun to use like my s23 ultra. The s pen w gestures and sound effects , multi tasking, open operating system, way better display lightyears ahead corning glass no reflections, good lock, emulation at a higher level w no limitations, Samsung TV ecosystem etc . I can tell you that after my pixel xl 9 learned my usage patterns. I wasn’t able to kill the battery from 8am to 1 am. I do see that the iPhone 16 pro max is using cheap tactics like dimming the screen. I sometimes find myself suddenly not enjoying my KZbin videos and then realise the screen is on 30% dimmed. Then when you push up the brightness you suddenly see the battery going down like on the pixel. Don’t get me wrong it has great battery life then any iPhone but still Apple is employing dirty tricks. I believe soon all there tactics will come out in public just like the slowing down of older iPhones to sell new ones.

Mrwhotheboss’ video is definitely the odd one out. Every test video I’ve seen, the 16PM comes out on top. And before the samsung fanboys come here to complain, I’m not saying the iPhone is outright better. I may be biased, but that seems to be the case. Cock-all this bull-locksery! This is the first battery test I've seen the 16PM won. I do understand it's based on the test parameters that are used. Wifi only test I don't take literally, it has to have a sim in for me. App selection as well and the fact that the iPhone can't truly multi-task as well.
