@@gee620 Well, hes right, most pics and especially video have higher dynamic range and suprisingly more details, but in exchange more noise also. Oppo is better only in 2x/3x, because of additional sensor.

Video stabilisation is better on iPhone. Main sensor : on some shot there's a little more details on iPhone but you've got far far less noise on Oppo...I think Oppo is better but it can be discussed. In term of pure technology, Oppo uses a newer Sony Lytia Sensor with dual layer, iPhone uses the old Sony IMX Ultra-wide : I didn't expect this but iPhone is murdered, the best exemple is the picture in the room with the bed...iPhone's quality is...bad Telephoto : I expect Oppo to be far better than iPhone and it's the case ! X25 pictures on iPhone are horrible, it's butchery...that's it. Ok, if you only make night time video, you can buy iphone. In any other cases, go for Oppo.

You must be a little biased because you find excuses in situations where the Oppo is slightly worse than the iPhone. Portraits are to overexposed, video is jittery and I’m wondering if you used night mode because I see some noise which I never encountered when using night mode.

Find x8 pro crush the shadows too hard, losing a lot of details because of a bit too high contrast. Iphone footage is easier to edit even without using log. This is a first review where I see iphone not losing to new oppo.

wasted my money. There are no manual controls at all, such as shutter speed, white balance, resolution, and FPS, makes it impossible to achieve the desired video quality.I'm disappointed to find that it doesn't even offer the same level of control as my 4-year-old Xiaomi phone.
