I’m sticking with my iPhone 14 for now. I’m not upgrading to another phone with a 60Hz screen I don't want a pro phone, the camera quality difference is minimal unless you're really zooming in. For most people just posting to Instagram or saving photos, it works perfectly fine,

iIt is surprising that you did not notice any difference between portrait mode in all three options. Just look at the edge detection of 14 to 15 and 16 in all portraits 15 and 16 even managed to separate individual hairs which 14 dosent , which is remarkable.15:52

Great video you explained everything this is how camera comparisons should be done. TBH one thing which makes Iphone 16 different from these two phones is the ability to shoot macro shots but i think its not worth to spend extra money for Iphone 16, iphone 15 sits as a perfect balance between these two phones

The macro feature on the new phone is cool, but as you said I don’t think it’s worth the upgrade for most people. I think iPhone 15 is in the sweet spot considering its price and features.

I think iphone 15 is still good enough . My only concern is apple intelligence which iphone 16 will get are those features really useful ? Btw which colour do you recommend for ip 15 ?

Honestly I feel 15 is the sweetest phone. Apple Intelligence right now is not that useful and I don’t have any hopes for this year at least. It might get better with time. If u can wait then get the 16 in Jan when it’s prices come down to 65-67k levels. For 15, I feel blue and black are best colours.

Right now it’s not worth as the price of iPhone 16 is 80K. In Jan sale when 15 will be available for close to 52-55k, that time 16 will be available for close to 65-67K and difference between 2 will be around 10-12k, which I think would be worth it. For 16 I like all colours (blue and teal are my most favourite).

iPhone 14 and 15 are recording audio in stereo and 16 is recording spatial audio. It sounds much better straight out of the phone, I guess YT doesn’t process that audio all that well and hence you feel its audio is not as good.

Thanks for bringing up this point. I saw your comment last night and I updated my 14 to iOS 18.1 and took a few shots at night time and a few more during the day today. I did not find any noticeable decrease in camera quality between iOS 17.7 and 18.1, but the image processing time on iOS 18.1 is definitely slightly longer on the iPhone 14. I guess there are a lot more commutations going on in the background which is causing the delay of few extra milliseconds. But as I said, thanks for bringing up this point.
