I don't agree. I think Apple has played it safe for to long, so much so that people are starting to lose patience. iPhone users are tired of seeing the same phone over and over again with minor tweaks. iPhone 16 line-up was the least hyped iPhone release in years because it hardly brought anything new, in other words, 2024 was the fifth in a row "S" year of iPhone 11. Releasing another "S" lineup will damage iPhone sales to the point of no return, Tim knows this, that is why he will put all his "eggs" in this years iPhone line-up.

@burimkllokoqi9265 appreciate the optimism, but Apple is likely going to give us just half of these upgrades, especially if a redesign is really in the cards, and even more so now that S25 Ultra has turned out to be even more of an S update than the iPhone 16 lineup was. There really is no incentive for them to go all out on upgrades when their biggest competition is phoning it in. Even the big leap to iPhone X from its predecessors (Apple's biggest upgrade to this day) wasn't as big as the wishful thinking stated in this video.

You guys are the only ones still hyping up the 'Ultra' moniker. The rumor came up several times but has died down for months. The 17 series is going to have a Pro Max model, not an Ultra one. The rumored upgrades are cool & all but they do not justify the introduction of an Ultra model. I think an Ultra iPhone will happen eventually, but my view is that it should not be introduced until Apple is able to figure out how to completely remove any & all screen cutouts by hiding the Face ID components AND the front-facing camera behind the display, as well as completely remove the bezels to achieve a true full-screen design with a 100% screen-to-body ratio. 2027 was the rumored year for this to happen, which coincides with the iPhone's 20th Anniversary, so a potential ‘one more thing’ being the iPhone XX Ultra model in addition to the iPhone 19 lineup scheduled for that year, but Ross Young has since said that this full screen design has been delayed. He told me that by the end of Q1, 2025, his firm will release an updated roadmap for the iPhone display design, so we will see what happens, but until then, please stop propagating the false idea/unsubstantiated rumor that an iPhone 17 Ultra model is coming out this year.
