Then he changed to an iPhone 5s after it. I still have the 5s but changed it not long ago due to the battery starting to get pretty weird and just die after 7 years of use. Honestly I still use my iPhone 4 as my actual phone. I’m looking for a newer phone but I’m having a hard time letting go of my iPhone 4. It’s been a wonderful phone. I’m thankful that I bought it. The back is cracked big time but other than that it’s pretty good. I’ve noticed that it’s shutting down & not working at times. The weather app quit over a year or so ago. KZbin app doesn’t work anymore on it. When you pull down the information from the top that says the date, all, missed screen some of the alarms I set months ago that won’t turn off that still says it’s set. It’s going to be heartbreaking when I can’t use it anymore. 😔 I really did love this phone & it was really good to me. RIP to my iPhone 4. People go crazy when I show them that this is the phone I still use. Their face is priceless. I’ll never get rid of it that’s for sure.

The iPhone 4S (all models) retain the two bands on the top and bottom of the phone, but also has the SIM card slot that the iPhone 4 GSM had because the iPhone 4S (iPhone4,1) supports both GSM and CDMA carriers. So that is indeed an iPhone 4, it's just a CDMA model, which came out later than the original GSM model. 👍

My father bought his iPhone 4 in 2010. We used it for several years, I and my sister used it to play games. The phone’s battery was already out, since we no longer use it. My father kept in the box where he got when he bought it. In November, 2020 I charged it and it took half an hour for me to wait for it to be able to switch on. When I switched it on, I’m surprised that it is now running on iOS 7, I remember the last time we used it was running on old iOS.

Joanie Low you could just get a used one on eBay but i recommend the ones that is not on iOS 7 for that old look. They are around $15 for ones that work but I recommend iOS 6 or lower.
