I remember this way too clearly where I had an iPod touch and expected to go for an iPhone, but the Galaxy S2 looked so much better I went for it instead. Funnily enough though I did eventually return to Apple with the iPhone 6, there were just so many little issues with Android that gradually I just got tired of it.

Its because the original s2 is a powerhouse. the s2 plus is a cover and a cheapy copy. they say that if you want an s2 try to get the original one. and if you do you're lucky. the gpu and ram is better in the original one. dont know for sure with the cpu though

The galaxy was quicker as it didn’t have any nice animations with its UI. It looked ancient and jittery compared to that 4S, that even back then kept that silky smooth iphone UI. And back then I was a massive Android fan boy. But every time I went on my dads 4S I couldn’t help but deep down admit the camera took better photos and the UI was silky smooth and crash free.

The Note and the s3 are both rectangles, since their long side is longer than their short side and both short/long sides are the same length. Cases might ruin the feel of the phone, but did you want them to make a bullet-proof screen or something? If you pay attention to your phone, you shouldn't drop it. I say you can't go wrong. Both are good, both are quick. I have both an Apple product (ipad 2), and an Android system (HTC Thunderbolt) My experience has been: HTC's performance/quality after 1 year, slowing down. iPad's quality performance after 1 year, still the same. You do realize that the connection bar actually has no meaning whatsoever. It's pretty much a myth, or a marketing thingy. Four bars doesn't necessarily mean that your connection is good for example. And it certainly isn't the same on every mobile phone. The S2 may have a better connectivity with one bar than the iPhone has with 3 bars for all we know. And it was only in the beginning that the "connectivity was better" as you stated it.

Uhmm, i guess 4s if you like a simple phone with a great amount of features and a phone that gets the newest update immediately, and the 2s if you want a kinda more feature bloated phone where there is no limitations. Im using iPhone 5 myself and I use it for school, video recording, music and it runs perfectly with iOS 7. Though the 4s can get kinda laggy from time to time. :)

I disagree. The Samsung was just about par with the iPhone. If you could've opened your eyes a little bit, you could see that it wouldn't really matter to the average consumer. No phone is the winner here, it's personal preference. iPhone offers ease of use, nice looking and responsive. The GS2 on the other hand offers brute force. Therefore, your comment makes no sense.
