There's nothing cheap about the 5c. The plastic is what makes it durable even more durable then all the others. And people will say your cheap for buying it because they've just realized they wasted 300 more dollars for a phone that was exactly the same thing with minor tweeks (5s??) Get the 5c. Exactly, the 5c is great I own one (white) and I also own the 5s. They are both great phones. In my honest opinion +MrRockyBoxer the iPhone 5c is just a pleasure to hold and in that regard I prefer it over my 5s when it comes to holding it. The plastic feels great and the phone is heavier. Very good points. The only thing I would address is the touch screen responsive issue. iPhones actually have top-notch responsiveness. I think what happened in your situation was that you love bigger screens and you may have missed the buttons. I've seen it done millions of times from reviewers online where they have to touch the button again because they didn't get it correctly the first time (but of course it may have just been something with that very device). I'm glad you found a phone that you're more comfortable with though. And also, the iPhone 6 I think you're going to be a fan of whenever you can get it. The bigger screen size is a definite and you'll probably feel great with having all of the features that you loved in the 5s but also having some of the features in the 6 because of the changes Apple is making.

falconpawnch7 I couldn't disagree more. In my view, there's very little point in benchmark tests because if they don't translate to the user experience, what really is the point? Samsung has even faked their bench tests. The phone market is obsessed with big numbers. I've used phones that have different benchmark test results and they've behaved completely differently to what their results would suggest. Big numbers are not important. How the phone actually acts in the real world is important. Just had to get that off my chest :)

I got a green iPhone 5c and I love it! It's a beautiful shade of green and the plastic makes it shine in such an awesome way. And, it's got the same specs as the iPhone 5. Sure, the 5s has better specs, but there are still tons of people using iPhone 4s and 4s's. So you won't be far behind :) And I hate how everyone says that it sucks because it's made of plastic. It's a really hard plastic, and I actually feel really safe with it. Also, I love being creative, and why carry a boring old black/white iPhone around when you could have a different color, like blue, pink, yellow, or green? I haven't had any problems with my phone for the past two weeks, and it's been doing just fine :) The only complaint I have with the 5c is that you can see fingerprints and smudges on the back if it's in bright-ish light, but that's fine. You can just get a case if you don't like it :P

Well, in my opinion 5c is much better than 5s. Some people think Iphone 5s is better just 'cause it has slo-mo and a finger sensor thing. While, you can download slo-mo anytime you want and the sensor doesn't ALWAYS work. Sometimes it takes a couple of tries till it actually lets you in! Iphone 5c is cheaper. and has everything that Iphone 5s has. Well, not the camera. 5s's camera is a bit better. doesn't really matter though. Many people complain about 5c being made out of "plastic". While it's not. It's made out of Polycarbonate. It's a very strong material. Polycarbonate has been used for years in the optical industry, to craft eyeglass lenses that are shatter-resistant and thinner than standard plastic lenses. Many of the sunglasses that are available use polycarbonate lenses; windshields on motorcycles, on planes and helicopters; some computer screens and e-ink devices - polycarbonate's use is myriad. It's a lightweight material that's easily molded into different shapes, It's a good electrical insulator and it's very heat resistant, too. I'm sorry if this offended 5s fans. But yes, in some ways 5c is faster than 5s, and in some 5s is faster than 5c. And if you're sooo annoyed by it's plastic, just buy a freaking case and people won't know the difference.

Nicolaus Parks That's my point. The Galaxy devices, even though they are pretty cheap, have the ability to actually remove their backplate. Not all Androids are shit, though. The new HTC One M8 has SD expansion and yet still does not have a removable cover, so that the back still feels very solid and premium. The iPhone 5C is just as glossy and crappy as the back of a Samsung, but the difference is that it is unibody, and to attempt removing the back of the iPhone would require breaking it and voiding the warranty. My point is that at least a Galaxy phone has the option to remove the plate

Long time I used to want an iPhone for a long time and I got one in late March( the 5C) and they had to have the 5S though. I don't see the need to complain about the 5S. i got the blue one (iphone 5c) and its really better than any other iphone device ive owned. And it feels good in your hands also the 5s feels likes its hard on the back and it dont feel good on your hands but another friend of mine also has it and she said it looked like it popped out the plastic but it never did that to mine but i really like the 5c.

I'm seems like you have something against the 5c, it may be because you have the 5s or whatever it maybe but the 5c is more of a personal statement in my opinion as opposed to the 5s. The 5s is very general and it seems like everyone is like one another there is no personality in the 5s. I want my personality to show through my phone and that's why the 5c has the slighter edge in the 5s in my opinion

I hate how people say the 5c is better cuz u pick ur own color even though ur gonna buy a case with a different color but the 5c is used with 3GS parts. iPhone 5s is way better it has way better security too.

If you're planning on buying an iPhone, definitely get the 5S. I borrowed an i5c from a friend for a week and now I have my 5S for a week. I dislike "plasticy" feel and bright color, so my preference goes to 5S. You don't see much difference in performance yet, but you will in a few weeks/months. To me it seemed like the battery life on the 5S was slightly better as well. If you don't mind paying the extra money, then definitely go for the 5S. If not, the 5C isn't bad either.

It's 2018 and I'm still into the iPhone 5c. It has the *blue colour* one which happens to be my favourite colour of all time. Beside, its glossy looking surface makes it looks more stunning 😆
