Thank you for another great video! I have an Iphone 6 Plus that will not activate, no imei present. To Start I replaced Baseband PMU and Qpoet. After no change, I ran U1 and V1 jumpers under Baseband CPU and still no change. I also replaced WTR IC and no change. most lines are getting proper voltage but 0.780v VREG_SMPS1_0V90, 1.8 LDO7, LDO 3 and LDO9 voltage missing. Diode mode readings ok. What to try next do you think? I tried BB PMU #3 times

I don't get it. I have 2 defect iPhone 6 with the same issue ("searching" / no imei on dialing +#06#). Accodring to your video I checked all the rf lines shown. The problem is the VPA_APT never has 3,7V on C4108_RF. I checked it with a working device and even on calling this line doesn't have 3,7V. Why is this? What am I doing wrong here?

Hello. The ‘No Service’ issue could be caused by different IC of baseband. Regrading your situation, The problem component of your motherboard may not be the IC you changed. Or perhaps other IC was damaged during the replacing process.

You missed it! U_QPOET is getting its 4.2 voltage from L4001-RF , he measured L4001-RF and found that it is actually outputting 4.2v, which means that U_QPOET is the problem. It is getting power from L4001-RF but it is not supplying the 3.7v to the capacitor C4108 (Broken)

Good video, but you used the most stupid way to take of the top shield. Someone will most like do even more damage, removing shield this way. But that aside it's great learning video.

Esad Muric this shield is very hard to remove in iPhone 6 and 6S, even with hot air solder under 400°C, this way is less risky

Exactly. Welded junctions of the shield plate come with high melting point. Cutting Nipper was applied to protect the surrounding components from high temperature.

This is so not true. I remove this shield with hot air in a minute, without any damage. Never removed it on force without hot air.

Think you need to understand there's no one way to do a repair. Goal is to find the safest, most efficient way that works for you. Your way works that's great but Rewa techs know what they're doing and their way works for them. There's risks to any method removing a high melting point shield.
