iPhone 7 No Backlight After Screen Repair

I had similar issue cause the display connector got loose whilist the battery was still plugged in, the two filters gave same value on the other hand the one you had ol gave a high resistance repacing that one fixed the problem for me

So I replaced my own screen, have this same issue with no image, however my home button works just fine, it power on just fine, yet even with a light shined on the screen, I have 0 image of anything when the screen should be lit. I did not disconnect the battery before replacing the screen. I also did not transfer over the thin metal backing from the original digitizer ( but I did transfer over the front camera and sensors). Any idea??? A noob on these new iphones but a quick learner

Its not recommanded to short a filter because it works as a fuse next time a short occurs there wont be a filter to protect the circuit
