Here’s a fingerprint hack: when adding a fingerprint, switch between two fingers when setting it up, so you get two fingerprint in one. Trust me, it works.

Very true. I have the 8 plus myself. Do the wobble test with your tips of your fingers on the back of the glass. My iPhone 8 Plus really doesn’t slide around. The glass allows it to stick like a kind of glue to my fingers. The only downside is if you have greasy fingers😂🤷‍♂️.

Shane - There is about 20% wasted space, above & below your iPhone screen, looking at my laptop screen. If your iPhone screen were a little closer to your camera, that 20% would be eliminated; the 20% wasteland would be filled with your (then larger) iPhone screen. The absolute first thing you should do, before unboxing, is to put on a pair of gloves such as food preparers use. That way, you will not get any fingerprints on your new phone before you put the protective covers on it. That's what I did and my phones are pristine in their cases.

I just bought my FIRST Iphone yesterday but will take 7 days before it arrives. It is a basic Iphone 8+ 256GB Space Gray. First ever, I have a Mate 10 Pro but want to try one of these Iphones. The X or X2 if they keep the notches I will never upgrade but I figured the 8 will last me 2 years before they figure out the X and I might upgrade then :). My iPhone 8 Plus screen glass broke after it freely fell from less than a 3-feet height. Actually whatever Apple says about it’s durable glass is absolutely bull shit. They lie about their product and they sell you a product that does NOT match what they have advertised on their website. Then if you wanted to send them an email complaint you will see they don’t have any email addresses written on their website or anywhere else. This means you cannot have a documented correspondence about ANY issue and what their responses have been. So you have 3 choices in this case: 1- Use it without repairing it, ie simply tolerate it. 2- Pay more than 325 New Zealand dollars for changing whole the screen. 3- Say fuck you and say you will share your experience with everyone in the world to open their eyes, and then hang up. I want each and everyone of you people know that Apple makes victims of counterfeiting as easy as pie like this: They advertise by putting the following phrase on their website: “The most durable glass ever in a smartphone, front and back.“ Then you buy it with that in mind but after few months your $1400+ smartphone with most durable screen glass falls down accidentally only from even less than 3 feet high and breaks into 7 cracks like shit. So, again you have to pay more than 325 New Zealand dollars for fixing what you thought is the most durable glass ever because they say we didn’t say it doesn’t break! If this is not a fraud or TRAP then what is it people? By the way I am not a moron and I won’t pay you a pittance Apple. Fuck you real bastards.
