This is a good guide, no bad angles, good lightning, and to the point, but there were differences with my model. Most notably the top microphone and detectors assembly needed a part romoved so it could fit, the grill. I had to guess to do that part because I thought it was the wrong screen at first. Also, the lcd lacked a metal plate, and I had to scavenge that from the old screen. Lastly I replaced the battery too, and the connector that went to the mainboard was really hard to clip. It took me probably an hour to put that sucker in. I get an unresponsive phone atm, but maybe the battery is fully dead, or maybe the battery connector broke. It looked like it clipped finally, but maybe it did some damage there. There are some things I want to try. Other charging cable, the olb battery, uninstall all and reassembly, but I'm done for the day. I'm so frustrated attempting this repair. I'm never doing an iPhone again. They are God damn nightmares.

You should also consider using an icopy machine to transfer over true tone. The screen was aftermarket so it was likely that it wasn’t transferred before. You can use a computer and Quanli’s software to transfer without original screen

Never touch the camera with your finger. The oils from your finger can damage the lens resulting in blurry photos
