Should always disconnect your battery as the first step. This reduces the chance of shorting any circuits or damaging parts when removing/installing due to a power surge. Other than that, great tutorial, thank you.

Since you pried the screen off does that mean that it is no longer water proof? Does it affect the water proof tape?

Yes, no longer wateproof. After any part replacement the waterproofness is gone.

Yes. Optical image stabilization is ruined. Replacing camera module will fix this issue

People cry about it but once you work on over a few thousand devices you realize they logic boards are coated and so it makes no difference in most small repairs.

While you won't break your phone 99% of the time, there's still a chance you will. Happened to me cuz i got lazy and didn't disconnect the battery. Ended up blowing a backlight fuse and had to send it off for a $150 microsoldering repair. It's worth the extra 30 seconds to unplug the battery whenever you work on a phone. Save yourself the hassle and the money

Both flashlight and camera are the same unit. You have to replace it.

Negative. iPhone 6s doesn't have the hardware on the logicboard to support the camera and the camera is a different pinout.

Pretty weird not disconnecting the battery first. That's wrong. Also weird not replacing the waterproof seal to prevent water damage. That's wrong, too. Be careful of instructional videos on KZbin - clearly just anyone can make them.
