So when i want to purchase the phone do i have to have a specific amount of money to purchase it, before i get the product like is there a down payment needed or you just purchase it having to pay for the first month and then continue paying it. am confused
@vroyen2 жыл бұрын
The best thing to do is have the cash for the tax and then make payments on the device. I had to keep an eye on the bill as they tried to bill me twice for the taxes and the customer service agent was able to correct the "mistake". Just keep an eye on your finances if you do payments as it can get quirky if you by an iPhone near the time your bill due.

Then picked the 256 gb and the monthly cost is $75. For mobile line and data is $40 monthly for 6 gb. 75 + 40 = $110. Yes, has a job and yes, short in money. Would you say it can work out as long as i have a job to cover the monthly payment? (Weekly paycheck) Or I need to have, lets say $500 to be realistic to the case. What would you recommend? or what can you say about this type of situation? Thank you so much. Bless you.

I usually have bought my phones outright. But this seems like a good option . Basically for zero cost you lock in an “option” to trade in your phone for 50% value in 12 months. If you dont want to , you just keep the phone and pay it off. Am I missing something?
@JameyKocan4 жыл бұрын
That's basically it! You just have to pay the taxes and activation fee. Now this could change if the trade-in value is lower but right now it's a great option. It also seems like iPhone prices on the secondary market aren't as strong, which is another reason why I chose the payment plan.

@evacody12494 ай бұрын
yes, you will have the phone and can use it. Here's the thing. Don't do a payment plan. It adds to the bill. Buy a phone that is either used or a year old. With Apple and the number of updates they have, that won't matter. If Samsung and Google go the full seven years, it won't matter there either.

And also i would like to ask if the taxes for example is 200 plus dollars do you have to pay the full 200 plus dollar an the day you purchased it or the taxes are also divided within the 24 months?

Like you I also get the new iPhone every year. In the UK, on EE we can share plans with other people, so I have a plan with myself and 4 others which is about £9.10 each per month for unlimited calls, texts and 110gb data to share, and I buy the phone outright. Because I have a very good condition iPhone pro max model every year to sell, I make £750-800 each time to put towards buying that phone outright. This year I’m hoping to do the same for the 13 so for the £1050 iPhone 13 pro max it’ll cost me only around £250-300, plus my £10 plan. That works out at £39/mo over the next 12 months with no tie ins. Comparatively, plans here are 24 months, which I hate, is about £60/mo. Easy £240 a year saving and a new device every year 👌🏼👌🏼

The reason the I phone payment plans through carriers do not make sense is because the line itself is very expensive. Prepaid MVNO offerings are a fraction of the price and though you don’t get carrier financing it saves a ton of money in the long run. Finance the phone through carrier like this takes away your ability to be on a much cheaper plan. Carrier financing is never the best deal. That’s the entire reason you get “0% interest” they interest is collected on the $90 per month line that should only cost you $30 on a comparable prepaid provider.
