Not everybody needs a shoe-sized phone. My hands are not getting bigger every 2-3 years, so this phone is not outdated to me. I rarely make pictures with my iPhone. These so-called tech reviewers tend to think that everybody is constantly, desperately waiting for that new tech "kick" that keeps them alive.

Everybody has different uses. I know what you're talking about. But I do take pictures when I am out with my phones. I use an iPad the rest of the time. I don't care about lotta the other stuff. But this phone sucks. I'm sorry. I had a 6+ which died of old age. Upgraded to this SE. So sorry I did. I think I'm gonna go to the 12 mini. I'm not a fancy dancy user. yeah, tech youtubers forget normal people just buy one phone every 1-3 years and without comparison, as long as the screen isn't extraordinarily bad (and they aren't on any phone since last couple of years), they don't really care if they have galaxy ultra kind of screen or just mediocre SE screen. Netflix is Netflix on any phone. It's media what counts not the screen

I got the SE due to the price and then the size. It’s perfect for general use - I don’t need a flagship just a comfortable phone with a good camera. For that it’s perfect.

I have android as well but I switched back to Nokia for it. Used Oneplus series for a long time and to be honest current ones are not for me. Size is a huge turnoff and I had issues with them after using em for a few months. Also the philosophy of launching two/three phones in a year is not for me. Just shows how hungry they are now. I miss my original bang for the buck oneplus. Oh and SE can never be a status symbol, I don’t know why you so angry and full of negativity for anyone supporting iOS. I roll with both, take care

I have also been using mine since release (preorder). I have no games on it, don’t KZbin or watch movies either. My battery health is 98%, and has been at 98% for 3 months. I use part of the health app and Pandora music. It also just hangs out on my nightstand more than it’s in use! I bought it to replace my old se because of its sad battery health. I LOVED the old se. great 5 month look back mark! agree with battery life, it may be good on the early days of the phone, but using it for years, that's where it might hurt a little bit. the only thing that i could see as an advantage for now is the current work from home setup of most people these days, the need for a "whole day battery life" might not be that needed for now, you can always charge your phone whenever you need to, like mine, that is currently sitting on the desk, charging as i work. lol. still loving this phone!!

It's also (usually, maybe not right now) fairly trivial to get an affordable and official battery replacement from Apple directly, which will keep the phone going strong for a few years after a replacement. Assuming the SE gets 5-6 years of updates, one or two battery replacements ($100 total, $49 for each replacement) would suffice.

I got the phone back in May and the Battery capacity is still at 100% and I make it though a day with no problem. If anyone buys the SE thinking That it’s a media playing device they are going to be disappointed, but really they just bought the wrong phone ...the SE is perfect for people who don’t spend endings hours playing on their phone , but use it as a communication device.

I recently purchased an iPhone SE as a cheap way to see if i would enjoy an apple phone. I switched from a galaxy s10 and its safe to say i love the new SE. I’ve watched lots of reviews on the new SE and i keep hearing these reviewers shit on this phone and I cant really figure out why. It’s a great phone. The battery gets me through most of the day ,a lot of times its gets me through the whole day. I’m a heavy user. I play games all day, i watch KZbin videos throughout the day from my favorite creators ,twitter and instagram all day and this phone serves me well in doing all of it. The camera is great but i do miss the ultra wide camera . That is the biggest thing I’m missing from this phone that was on the s10. The processor is lightning fast way better than the snapdragon that was on the s10. After buying this phone i got an iPad and the two work perfectly together. I finally understand the apple ecosystem. All in all i would recommend this phone to anyone it has 95 percent of the capabilities of the iPhone 12 for 50 percent of the cost win win

I got my new iPhone SE and I love it. I used to have a huewai p20 pro and upgraded for free through EE. I love the slick look, as I had the iPhone 7 many moons ago, like the old school look, but runs super fast, and of course Home Screen button works wonders in a mask pandemic world. Battery isn’t great but as long as you don’t use your phone 100% all day you’re gonna be fine. I recommend getting a 15w fast charger. Forgot to say I got AirPods with them part of my contacts and they’re AMAZING!

I’m using an iPhone SE to send this comment. Personally, this phone isn’t the best to me and I’m kinda sick of it. Performance is great but it’s just too small. It’s too small for my hands. Battery life isn’t that much of an issue to me because I don’t go places very often and it’s almost always on charge. I can trade this phone into Verizon and with my unlimited plan they will give me an iPhone 13 Pro for an insanely well price. By the way, I am a person who uses my phone way too much but like I said this things almost always on charge.

The point of all channels on KZbin is, in addition to success, answering important questions and learning new information every day. Even the number of subscribers is not the most important, but the content of the video is. Also, I consider it a kind of talent, it may be true that everyone can be a youtuber, but not everyone can record a good and quality video, extract reliable information from the video and so on. Well, let me tell u. Why don't u save some MORE money and buy a better phone that u really deserve. Go get the iPhone 11. Its a year old, but has a wide angle lens + night sight (which the SE shockingly doesn't). It's little more expensive yes, but it's well worth the savings. To me, this is real "value".

The battery life is not a real complaint since most people are still holding onto their 6 and 7s. It is the perfect upgrade and Apple understands that. Majority of people buying the Se are not media consumers and my co-worker who I recommended the phone is the prime example. She got the SE and is beyond happy that her battery is at 60% at the end of each day. It was a massive upgrade to her and that is the target this phone is for. Not us techies.

Personally, I work full time, so I don’t need it to surf the web all day, but when I do use it, it’s useful to have the finger print sensor especially in situations where you need to wear a mask. The speakers are also Plenty loud, I personally find the original IPhone 8 was one of apples best iPhones ever made, so the SE is just a great choice as it will be supported for years to come. Also very snappy with the IPhone 11’s guts. If you are coming from the IPhone 6/6s/7/8 you will feel right at home with this models with the updates of a modern device such as wireless charging.

I am still using the SE 2 for 4 years now. It still does everything I need it to, and it will soon update to iOS 18. Yes, it is a bit beat up, but that’s on me! I like the display. I have no problem watching videos on it. I actually prefer the original SE screen on a phone, as it makes it more portable. My battery is down to less than 80%, but I will soon replace it for free, after which I will drop the AppleCare insurance. But when the battery was 100% I never had any issue with battery life. Of course I have an iPad for video editing, productivity, and everything else that requires a lot of power. As a phone, the SE models work very well. Trying to make them into everything else degrades that primary function.
