Life hack: use the iPhone 7 Smart Battery Case with the iPhone SE. Essentially doubles your battery life, fits the phone perfectly, and even color matches. The only “downside” is that it’s not compatible with wireless charging, but for someone that doesn’t even use wireless charging (or how easy it is to take the phone in/out of the case if you do) this makes the iPhone SE the absolute best choice for the price point.

ShMaLeB64 You won’t regret it. I go for all day bike rides with Bluetooth headphones streaming audio, Strava running, and I don’t even come close to killing the phone. The battery case turns this inexpensive phone into a long term use, I love it.
@marissaestela76114 жыл бұрын
So do you keep your phone charging all day with the case or you charge it with the case and then the phone lasts on its own?
@clarkesuperman4 жыл бұрын
Marissa Estela The iPhone Case charges the phone and case at the same time when it is plugged in, and it is “always on”, so when I wake up I take it off the charger and both are at 100%. The charger battery will drain first (phone will stay at 100%) and then when the charger dies it will then run on phone battery. So most days my phone itself will never dip below 20% which is actually healthier for the lifetime of the battery.

I have an iPhone SE and it was my first apple device and let me tell you. I used to be an avid android user but that has changed. Apple devices are so smooth. I experienced SO MUCH lag and glitches on android and I would complain daily about it. With the iPhone SE I haven't complained once about its performance. Plus if you have other apple devices airdrop is amazing. The one downside is that the battery life isn't great. It's not a bad battery but if you are extremely heavy on use you will probably not be able to get through one full day. Overall, if you have the money definitely buy the iPhone SE. (Also the 128GB is the sweet spot. That way you don't ever have to worry about not having enough storage. Trust me it's worth upgrading to128GB unless you pay for iCloud storage every month)

Literally a lot bad about, battery is horrible, design is outdated and small to even game on or enjoy content. No new camera features
@Tammacazi104 жыл бұрын
Animated VEVO Battery life is a matter of what a person needs in a phone. If you use your phone for 10+ hours a day, yes the battery life is horrible FOR YOU. In my case I use my phone maybe 5-6 hours a day and it lasts me the entire day so for ME, the battery is just fine. The design is a matter of opinion and in my opinion, the design is sleek and elegant so not much of an argument there either. The camera on the other hand is comparable to smart phones that are twice the price and more. Look up any comparison videos between the SE and other smart phones and you'll find plenty of results that mirror what i'm saying. I appreciate your opinion but it doesn't match mine so that's all it is, your opinion.

I have the iPhone SE (2020) as my daily work phone. I fixed the battery issue with the iPhone 7 Smart Battery Case that Apple sells (cheaper on Amazon) and the speakers aren’t a huge issue for me since I use my AirPod Pros for virtually anything call related. This phone is genuinely the best phone I’ve ever had. Sure, I have the iPhone 11 Pro Max... but something draws me to this tiny phone. It’s easy and portable. It is absolutely unparalleled. Compare this to the pixel 4a, with a massively inferior processor and lack of better software support. If we compare this to the 6s/SE(1), I’d have to say this phone will get 8 years of solid software support. That’s 7 feature updates, and 1 year of bug updates (just like the 6 did). I’m just as excited with this phone as you are man. I’ll keep this phone far longer than I’ll ever end up keeping my 11Pro Max. I’ll cherish the sunset Apple gives this device and remember years later how solid of an investment I made with this phone.

When this came out in April 2020, I ordered one for me and one for my wife. Now, after one and half a year later, I am still satisfied with everything, just a battery drains really quickly when doing anything intensive, for example if we go to a Zoo and I take a lot of photos and videos, the battery can be down in a few hours, so the external battery is a must for any kind of intensive usage. The performance is absolutely great, the build quality also, but the reason no. 1 why I went for this phone is the way it can be really used for more than 5 years with just a small service done after each 2-3 years - replacing a battery, which can be easily done at home without any expensive Apple specialists.

@@Errcyco wow.! Thank you so much for your quick reply. It helped a lot. Now i will buy the SE 2. Last time i used an apple product it was in 2012. Since that year, i'm missing the iOS. Thank you, brother. God bless

My 6s is running iOS 14 perfectly, it'll be 6 years old by iOS 15 and the way it's running 14 I reckon it'll get 15! An Android mate swapped to the SE2 after his phone died and absolutely loves it, can't say much else really, what a package it is

Guys when i heard the iPhone 12 gonna launch i was saving up money to buy that very soon. I had an iPhoneX - it slipped like month ago from my hand and the display was destroyed so i needed an replacement. I now rented myself an iPhone SE 2020 just for the time until the iPhone 12 releases. I thought myself „omg iPhone SE is just such a Stepback from what im used to but i dont want to rent sonething expensive until the iphone 12 comes“ So ive been using it for over a month now and im LOVING it - honestly i dont need anything else i do all the daily tasks its super fast and efficient and i personally thing that 90% of all people wont need more than this.

Bottom line why I love my SE? The size. Fits perfectly in one hand and I can reach all the buttons with one hand. Comfortable and not too big.

5:34 your point on Touch ID is so important. I was confused between iPhone 11 64 gb variant which was costing 45000 INR and iPhone se 128gb varient which is just 27999 INR . So I opted iPhone se as it has Touch ID . This is the need .

I hear the battery health goes down about 1% a month. Do you see yourself using this phone in 3 years? My main concern is about longevity .

same question for me! I want to change my phone to SE (2020). I have been using my 6s for almost 3 years and the battery sucks big time (only 76% left battery life) lol 😂 I want to be able to use the SE until about 2-3 years too...

Aayush Batra yeah... about that... I’m still in university so my budget won’t allow me to get an iPhone 12 which will probably be much more expensive than the SE. :(

@@aikojob7227 alright.. SE is still a very good phone.. its just that it may look outdated in like 2-3 years when everyone has a no bezel display.

@@AayushBatra thank you so much for your input! :D it's alright, I honestly haven't had a phone last longer than 3 years on me lol. I either lose them (Samsung Corby, S3) or they break on me (Sony Ericsson phones, Sony Xperia Z3). I've had my 6s the longest tbh and if it weren't for the battery and the insufficient storage (I got the 32 gb sadly because I didn't think ahead lol), I don't even have to get a new phone! :)

If I was in the market for a new phone, the SE would easily be at the top of my list. My Galaxy S9 is 2 years old and running just as strong as when it was new, so i don't need an upgrade; but when it does finally shut down on me, I very well might make my first ever iPhone purchase.
@FigWidIt4 жыл бұрын
Got the SE in White, does everything I need. I do see how bad the battery life is as people say; so I would recommend the XR or 11 if you are even a “moderate” just to be safe. “Heavy” users already know the SE isn’t for you. I bought an old Mophie Battery Case meant for the 7/8 but it fits the SE 2020 just fine and gives me several more hours of use. But, $399 is killer for the A13 and above-average camera inside this thing.

If you're doing battery-killing stuff on your phone, the fix is to shift that work to a device optimized for that work. A phone should function, first and foremost, as a phone.
@rumleyrum58394 жыл бұрын
Yes indeed. I bought my SE to replace a Blackberry Z10 and, I wouldn't have done that, except that Verizon dropped so many supported features for that phone. That said, I bought the SE because of the size and the functionality. My phone is not my go to for everything device so the SE was perfect for my uses. Someday, if I figure out all of the functionality, maybe I will want something else, but, in the meantime, I am well satisfied with the SE. YMMV.

My primary phone is a relatively new Pixel 4a. I recently picked up a new iPhone SE since Xfinity Mobile was offering it free as long as you transfer a number. I quickly created a Google Voice number and used it to get the offer. Being a long time Android user, especially with the Pixel phones, while the new iPhone SE seems like a solid device, I don’t consider it to be the best choice compared to the $350 Pixel 4a that comes with 128GB of storage. The battery life, camera, and amount of storage, are the key advantages over the SE. Longevity is not really a big deal since most phone batteries degrade within 2 years anyway. Yes, you can have the battery replaced but with great phone options now under $400 doesn’t it make more sense to replace the device?

Was android user, now im using iphone se 2020 (1 month), and i gota say it is just sooooooo smooth. The audio quality is just so good compared to androids specially at around the same price. Battery lasts longer than expected but still not that loooong, any heavy user will not have a good time with this phone. Performance is absolutely insane and the battery charges kinda fast since its small (also be ware that after 80% it charges much slower to make ur battery health last longer, u can deactivate it but i recomend leaving it on) Overall i must say this phone was perfect for me, it has the performance i want for games, it is small and i like it being small, looks fking amazing, sound quality is insane (both speakers and with earphones), very good camera quality, home button , and now the back tap which i do use and its rly good
