Your tutorials are really great! It’s nice to go back to the ones where you just miss a message. On the calendar tutorial, can you add a lesson I’m deleting a birthday, anniversary, and whatever. I have not found a place to delete permanent events. Thanks Barbara Barker

Please, please, please stop saying in your video's how easy the iphone steps are. That just makes me feel that much more helplessly ignorant than I am - and frankly out and out stupid. They may be easy for you but it is not most easy for me. I have a tech background so my self esteem is already butchered, I don't need anyone else to expect me to take joy in how easy it is. I do greatly appreciate your efforts to make it easier. Someday I will feel confident. But, not today. Today I want to cry. Thank you for your efforts and kindness.

Great video - I wanted to know how to switch upper and lower case letters and numbers.

Easy! On the keyboard screen simply press the "caps lock" or shift key to get capital letters. Tap the "?123" key to get numbers. Hope this helps!

Great video......however, I delete ALL my texts as soon as they're not relevant anymore, why would you keep them when the subject matter gets old??
@RichBowlin Жыл бұрын
Some people just like having ALL of their texts available. Like you, I delete the text as soon as it's no longer relevant. Who wants to see all that stuff every time you open the Messages app? Not me. I don't know...I'm not like a lot of younger people.

Hey, how does the Iphone know where to send the message to with out an number? Your video fails here. Or do you think we should already know that? Which is what?
@RichBowlin Жыл бұрын
If you have the phone number info in of the person you want to text in the Contacts app, you only need to enter the person's name - no phone number needed. If the person you want to text is not listed in your Contacts app, then , yes, you'll need a phone number. Hope this helps.

Hi, I am 86 years old and grew up in the typewriter generation. I've adapted to life with computer (I'm on my 7th) but these @#$%^& smart phones drive me nuts. I HATE mine. But 'Life' is forcing me to use it. I was taken to my hospital's ER and they wanted me to scan a code to check in! I'm a heart patient with a serious problem and they want me to scan something??? Anyway, I'm looking at your tutorials so I can join the 21st century for however many or few years I have left. Thank you!

Hi James! Let's hope you have many more years. My mom is 93 and has learned how to use her iPad pretty well. Not without frustration though. I try to keep my tutorials simple and easy to follow without a lot of whipping around. I hope you stick with it and my videos help!

How to send messages to those not using iPhone? what is mms ? Why I send photos?
@RichBowlin Жыл бұрын
Hi Avinash! You can send messages to non-iPhone users from your iPhone. MMS is the protocol cell service providers use to transmit texts. Apple messages have their own standard and differs from MMS. Still though, the iPhone can send a text message to a Samsung phone. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!
@delphimiranda2 жыл бұрын
It’s way cheaper?
@avimango462 жыл бұрын
When I try to send a picture the answer I get is “MMS not activated “
@RichBowlin2 жыл бұрын
Here's what Apple recommends to fix this issue: Open the Settings app. Navigate to Messages -> Text Message Forwarding. Turn if off for the device refusing to send the MMS (in this case, your iPad). After 30 seconds, turn forwarding back on and follow the instructions given to reauthorize the device. Hope this helps!

He never says how to text a 5 digit number that is NOT already on your phone. U see the 5 digit codes all over. Even worst in the beginning he used the word "SIMPLE" which to a novice it is NOT. Like saying everything is EASY.

Rich BOWLIN, I quit during the video on NOTES ! your speed of talking seems to double and You turn your back to us while doing speedy keyboarding. The video on NOTEs is where you lose us. You need to make a series of videos starting with notes where you really S L O W D O W N ! telling us to watch the high speed presentation several times doesn't help, it just makes us angry and we quit watching your videos . You are not a real senior. You are out of touch with us. We can't listen as fast as you start talking in the NOTES video.
