Like you I’m having to get used to hearing my voice. But as far as increasing my hearing, they have been amazing. Like you said, things that I haven’t remembered not hearing certain things are popping up now. Hearing people with background noise was also a problem with me. These have helped that tremendously. Thanks for the video….

Great video. For me it would make more sense to have 6 widgets on one page then hide the entire page when I’m not traveling…but I wouldn’t have thought of that without seeing this first, so great inspiration!

Agree about background music. Why? It’s distracting not helpful and serves no purpose.

In your video you mention getting a screen protector for your iPad. I use an Apple Pencil a lot for taking notes. I was considering buying a product by paper lite instead of the screen protector. I am told the paper lite product makes the writing on the iPad feel more like writing on paper. May I ask, what are your thoughts?

Frustrating. My understanding is that it should be rolling out around the world soon. I guess it's taking longer to get governmental approval in Canada than expected.

I am sure the Apple magic keyboard is very nice however is is expensive. Logitech Combo Touch iPad Air 11-inch is the keyboard I use and it is half the price of the magic keyboard. It also has the trackpad and the magnetic keyboard that uses the magnetic pins and does not rely on bluetooth, and resides in a protective cover my ipad air. Just a less expensive option with high rating on amazon. I have only had it 6 months so I cannot speculate on its longevity. I really like your channel and forward a lot of your videos to my senior friends.
@RichBowlin2 күн бұрын
Yes - that Logitech keyboard is awesome. I had one for an older iPad I had and loved it. I can tell you it lasted years for me. Plus it was half the price of the Apple keyboard. Hope others see your comment to know there's a good alternative keyboard available. Thanks so much for watching!

I wish someone would buy me the standing desk as a gift. It looks nice. I have Magic Keyboard for my iPad Pro. I also found a key board case for my iPad mini which I love. The screen is small so not having to use the on screen keyboard gives me much more viewing room. Thank for the video.

Well, there's always something on the horizon I guess. But I've not heard anything about a change coming to the 10th gen iPad. I think it's a great iPad and for the price, the best you can buy. I use my 10th gen all the time. Thanks so much for watching!

After setting up the Airpods with my iphone, can I use the Airpods standalone or do I always need my iphone nearby?
@BobbieGWhiz21 сағат бұрын
The only need an iPhone or iPad to set things up. They work independently thereafter. Having said that if you want to make adjustment such as ambient noise reduction, volume, brightness you’ll need the iPhone or iPad.

I don’t even know how to create a file let alone arrange them but mostly what I need to know is how to go back whenever I stuff something up and start again. What I would like to do is store on my Ipad a collection of music that I can take with me and not be dependant on a wifi connection. I would also need to know how to record the youtube music I like.

I am fuming after updating iOS 18. I HATE the damned iOS updates force Me waste so much of my time relearning their stupid changes on the phone. Is this their fear of job security??? why apple tech people waste their brains doing this - it’s not Like inventing a new device but constantly change what’s already useful - it’s the tech people’s need rather than us the user end!!!!! Who cares about changing colors on the screen while screwing photo arrangement placements that I can’t immediately find on my photo app…. ugh I’ll have to now change to android

I get INSULTED by seeing such things as “iPhone Basics for Seniors”. iPhone basics are iPhone basics, PERIOD. NO NEED to add for SENIORS!!!!! By the way, good video!

Mr. Bowlin I have a question that I think you may be able to answer. My Dad is 87 and can I get the iPod pro 2 and set them up through my phone so he can use them for hearing aids. We got him an iPhone last year and he tried really hard to use it but it was just too complicated so we let him have his flip phone back🥲 And a big thank you for your wonderfully done videos and your willingness to share them with whomever can benefit from them👏

I also love Anker products! I have a Bose speaker I paid well over $100 for and an Anker that was around $35. The Anker holds a charge for about 2 days and sounds great! We take it everywhere with us; the beach, hotels, camping and I never worry about it bc it didn’t cost me an arm and a leg. Don’t get me wrong the Bose is nice and the bass is a little better than the Anker if they’re side by side, but independently the Anker is great. These are small speakers the Bose is about the size of a soda can and the Anker about 2 x 2 x 6 rectangular, they’re not noticeable at all. Cheers and happy listening! 🎉🎉🎉

Not permitted in Canada. A threat to our audiologist and the incredible prices they charge for hearing aids…
@RichBowlin4 күн бұрын
I think Apple is slowly rolling it out around the world. But government approval is most likely required to qualify the AirPods as clinical grade hearing aids. I hope this feature males it your way soon. Since I made this video I've been wearing the AirPods in the evening when watching TV with my wife. They've made a great difference. The AirPods really work!
