I dont normally comment on YT videos but OMGGGGGG it worked huhuhuhu. I forgot my passcode (kept changing it cause my kids kept using my phone) was trying to restore it using itunes but my pc wasnt recognizing my phone, tried everything bought new cables (cause I thought my cable was the problem), tried using a different pc, tried to go to a technician to see if my buttons are maybe not working (yes already went to a technician but my cheapassself refuse to pay for them to have it restored) 8hours and 3 breakdowns later I found this video and didnt realize theres a specific timing when clicking the buttons and plugging the cable to get it to the recovery mode. 1:48

The fact that it doesnt tell you why there is no erase ipad option, and there is no other way to do it is infuriating. The whole process is a dumpster fire

Question if the phone is on iOS 15 and up and not connected to the internet is the possibility of using the iTunes things works idc about the old file I just want the phone to work again😢

Same situation. I just bought a new phone but the document and photos in my broken phone are worth more than anything😢 Apple please tell me how much money do you want? I think it’s the most dumbest system ever. At least they should allow us to retrieve all the data at the Apple store instead of force us to go to factory mode.

Video is too fast and too far away (too small to read text) and so needs to be slowed down or paused and zoomed in! Also, what are the options when you have nothing backed up (not backed up to iCloud and can’t afford to lose data)?!

I have an AT&T phone with no sim which I change the password and forget it and as soon as I watched this video tun off my phone the plug the charger and hold down the power and volume button and saw it came up on the say my phone showing iPhone update and recovery mode about my phone on the Mac book thanks you so much
