I see them as two different products: the airpods are usually used more for wireless calls, and are used best with an apple device; the beoplay are for peple who love music and want to listen to it wirelessly while on the go, more than anything else. I do not see them as made for the same purpose, beoplay is mainly a music device. As an audiophile, I woulg go with the beoplay , just my opinion.

yeah I am the same way. For me the only thing that is important is the sound quality. the rest of the shortcomings i can live without

beoplay eq are on another league. the only con for them only the volume. 70 to 80% volume then they are wonderful sound.

I’ve had the AirPod Pro’s since launch and use them daily. Flawless performance. I have been tempted by the Beoplay EQ’s over the last week or so after hearing folks feedback on how good the sound quality is. However you have made me rethink this again 🤦🏻‍♂️. I may just order a set and take advantage of B&O’s 30 day money back guarantee and try them out for myself

As as Android primary, Apple secondary user, I have tried pretty much every high end earbud out there using their return policies. After trying AirPods Pro, Sony XM4, Senn MT2, B&W PI7, I ended up at the EQ and I feel like they are the best balance of everything I look for. Supreme sound quality, great build quality, and good battery life. They also were among the most comfortable.

@@matlman1 I totally agree. I’ve only had them a couple of days but I’m blown away. The EQ’s are phenomenal. The sound is absolutely tremendous. Going to take some serious magic to beat these. Can’t see these being toppled off the top spot for a while. Definitely a keeper. Battery life is perfect and like you mentioned extremely comfortable

How about Airpods Max or other Headphone, is it worth it to get a headphone to get best quality of sound quality than get an truly wireless earphone? Does EQ/EX sound near to Airpods Max?

@@NetvoTV Full sized head headphones have a lot better Soundstage and detail. Base response will vary a lot, but you'll mostly get more expansive than punchy bass on headphones. My h95s overall sound better than any other Bluetooth headphone/earbud I've tried

@@NetvoTV personally not a fan of on ear headphones. I did buy the Bose QC35ii for use on Flights. They never got much use with global chaos going on so I gave them to my son. I much prefer in ear buds. The B&O EQ’s have superior sound to my AirPods Pro. I did however return the EQ’s the other day as I’ll be buying the New B&O EX’s due in May

I loved using the Airpods 1 and 2 on my android, I used them for simplicity and when I wanted sound quality I went for the Buds Pro, now that I gave the Airpods to my wife I use Sony's, L3P, etc, but if you want simplicity at this date, the Airpods 3 is good for everything.

I own both AirPods Pro and the EQ’s and I agree with everything he said. I use my EQs when I wanna really jam out to music on any device (PC/Laptop/iPhone) I use AirPods Pro for work related activities (phone calls, zoom meetings, etc.) They’re both serviceable in both categories but if you’re not an audiofiler and/or don’t wanna blow a combined $650 for both of them go with AirPods Pro

Wired earbuds are for better sound quality as there are no latency issues. But wireless have come a long way with Apple's Lossless music soon hitting the market and Android with APTX Adaptive and HD, i think it is getting there

Seriously I never understood why everyone thinks Airpods have better mics than the rest of the market, thanks for this test which shows just the opposite. B&O may indeed be the best TWS out there right now for sound, but where a lot of brands go wrong is believing that people buy TWS just for sound . Yes people want pretty good sound, but that's really the convenience people are looking for with TWS, otherwise $50 wired headphones sound better than 99% of TWS over $500. And that Apple understood very well.

The whole point of earpods is battery. And Sound and size. And beoplay wins by far. All the other factors mean nothing as "connectivity" doesn't make the esrpod better. So it's should even be a point. For the factors which matter, sound quality and battery. Thr beoplay wins
