Thanks for sharing! I know iPhone X is very old (probably almost obsolete) by now, but mine has a lot of sentimental value, and I needed it more quickly than a shop could return it. I just finished replacing the screen, battery, and charging port about 2 hours ago with the help of this video, and after a small mishap (totally user error) where the screen came disconnected briefly, I was able to open it up again and reconnect it and now it's working great! My fiance had it repaired at a shop about 3 years ago, replacing the screen and battery, and it cost $250. I've just done that, plus the charging port, and a new screen protector for about $50!

After replacing the charging port my phone X reboots every 3 minutes now. I put the original charging back in and the phone works correctly. I tried a 2nd port replacement and the rebooting issue came back. Any suggestions?

did u put a black charging port to a white board or vice versa?? that might causing the problem also make sure that charging port replacement part is OEM or refurbished
