Hey Mr. Geardo, Recently I replaced my screen and since then my phone is not charging and I suspect there could be some loose connection on charging flex cable. What do you think, should I replace the charging flex cable or figure out if there is any loose connection?

You can try to change different cables and adaptors, Next, try to do a hard reboot, if it is still same i think it is with the battery. You will need a new one

Great video. Having an issue with boot loop on an IPhone XS Max currently. I just want to recover the data off it at this point. I have disconnected all connections to the logic board except for the power button, battery, and screen connectors, but It is still boot looping… could this possibly be the battery being bad? I even disconnected the battery connection and kept the plug in the charging port and it still boot loops, but at a faster pace then with battery connected though, not sure what that means. It had no repairs or had been opened prior to this boot loop thing happening. I don’t think it even got wet as it has been inside a fully covered case since I got it. Any help would be appreciated.

My phone says it’s charging when completely dead but not when it gets turned on and it will only really be on for about 60 seconds, i just replaced the screen after I haven’t been on it for about a year but i know the screen is perfectly fine because I was able to type my password. Do you think it’s the battery or charging port

Most probably the battery. But can’t say exactly.but you can start with that.sometimes it can be the software too. But likely a hardware issue

Same problem when I attach the charging connector at the top, it goes into a boot loop, but when I take it off it turns on and restarts every 3 minutes

It could be a faulty face ID module. Try disconnecting that, and see if the problem goes away.

sloopy repair no water proof gasket for screen dirt dust and water will now enter that phone its worth buying that gasket guys and it cost peanuts
