I think the reason people like iphone is, and this is from an android fan because 1. the software is not as glitchy, cleaner and much more optimized-speed 2.The Apple ecosystem works very well(air pods, iPad, mac books etc) 3. Its much more simple and predictable Now I know the new iPhones are not that innovative and way too expensive but for someone who always uses apple, I can understand why they like the iPhone.

I just switched from a Galaxy S7 to iPhone 8 yesterday. I love android but it became glitchy after a while and I've been having SMS issues for a while. Also most of my friends/co-workers have iPhones so having iMessage is nice. I can appreciate both OS's and I feel fairly unbiased. Right now the iPhone is definitely running a lot smoother and faster than my android, but it's also very new still. My honest opinion is that most of us use our phones for social media, taking pictures, and googling stuff; and any smartphone can handle that. It's kind of subjective which phone is best.

Yeh but I think the 8 is for me next. I love Touch ID, and the 8 has the same new powerful chip as the iPhone x. I'm gunna let face recognition improve first, because it will. Just like the first Touch ID was good but eventually became super fast. I wanted edge to edge display, but their is just something not winning me over about the X. Could be price? Could be no Touch ID? Could be no physical home button? Could be the notch spoils a full screen display? I'm not sure but I am going with the 8 for a couple of years.

Actually, I like the iPhone 7/8 design better than the X. The iPhone X has a feminine, almost childlike look, with the rounded screen. I don't like that. I want the elegant, but sharp look with a more defined screen area. The top area with front facing camera and sensors should NOT interfere with screen content. It looks plain stupid, Apple.

You do great reviews on products. Keep up the great work. I had the Iphones thru the 6S Plus. Glad I made the switch to the Note 8. Got it for half off trading in my S7, and another 150 off with pre order and got the 360 camera and owe only around 250 for that 960 dollar phone. I loved Apple, but Samsung is leading the way now. I wished the Google Pixel 2 would have been out to compare as well. Again this is just how I feel not wanting to piss anyone off. You have to shop around and see how the phone feels in your hand and what you want that phone to have and finally price. Thanks again Marques for the great reviews to help us make our tech choices.

That was not true face unlock. I know what you're talking about as I had a old tablet that had the "Face Unlock" feature. That just used how your face looked, and could easily be fooled by someone with a similar resemblance to you, and could not see your face in a 3D way meaning that it would be fooled by a flat object such as a picture. This can not as it has all the sensors that make it secure and useful.

decent? I build an I5 4590 with a GTX 970 for the same price. That is high end gaming. Not top of the line, but basically anything 60fps+. Decent is a $600 with a GTX 750ti and an I3 7350.

Cristián Bicknese you can get an s8+ for much cheaper with a 6.2 display and better resolution and has the double camera and iris scanner which works good on my s8 also headphone jack and SD card, fast charging and has both wireless charger methods. I'm definitley getting it! I probably would not be if the money I have saved was actually money I got from work instead of my dad tho lol! I am tentitively planning on staying up for the pre order and getting an unlocked Silver X 64gb on AT&T for now. I just wish the X release wasn't going to be so limited and hard to get potentially (from what I've heard), and I wish I could get the new gold color with the X. This was the most easy to remember guide to how the new gestures on the X are used, and how the phone differs from the 8 and 8 plus. Thank you!
