Just came back to drop this comment. This actually worked for my iPhone X. The wifi and Bluetooth signal became so weak I couldn’t connect my AirPods unless I brought it really close. Same as the wifi I had to be literally close to the router before I could get signal. After visiting a repairer and making him watch this video , my wifi and Bluetooth is now working full range. I can airdrop files to my MacBook now. Thanks so much for this!

Hats off to this guy, I had the exact same problem with my iphone x once and I got this repaired for 100 usd , cause the guy told me that he had to replace my wifi antenna (which now looking at this video and the internals of the phone, doesn't make sense), only now do I realize that i was scammed out of my cash , and it was someone that I sorta trusted who did this "repair", so I guess you can never be too safe. since this is an older model ,by todays standards I decided to look at it myself and i come to find out from this video that all i had to do was to attach a loose connector like a lego. just goes to show you that you can never be to careful with people, even if you trust them and to also try to fix your stuff yourself , thanks to whoever made this video. The main cause for that problem is the dot projector is touched by bare hand while battery on connected stage.The static energy produce by body makes the chip inside the dot projector.

Disconnecting wifi antenna is the main cause for that issues so, you have to put battery bracket and put all screw.
