Mohammed al-natshe I also had this concern, debated sizes for months. But I’m really glad I got it. It is huge, and sometimes unwieldy in one hand. But it’s not a nuisance for me, compared to the benefits.

Vicki Gillen No you don’t, sorry to break it to you, there are phones half the price like OnePlus, Samsung A and even S line, etc etc that cost half the money, half the money!!! And last other people for years to. There is nothing that justifies the Iphones pricing, from 1100 till 1650 (!!!!!!) for a device that can’t do much more than an Iphone 6S is just a RIP OFF in it’s purest form. I have the Iphone X silver 256 GB after breaking my Iphone 6S plus, and the differences are minimal! I to believed the hype, and i regret it so much that i spend al that money on this fast Emoji machine, i like it, but i got scammed, because a Note or S9 is much cheaper and can do everything my Iphone can, same for the OnePlus and Huawei Mate.

Excellent video! I stopped the video repeatedly in order to customize my new iPhone XS Max as you went along so that I wouldn't miss anything. This was a rapid delivery of excellent information and I subscribed. I'm looking forward to listening/watching more of your videos. I'm already planning to switch from my Fitbit Ionic to the new Apple Watch 4. I've been on the fence since they've come out but I love the Fitbit community as it's very supportive. (Just hate the trolls that permeate all the social media these days) So I'm looking forward to that video.

I literally just use the front and back rhinoshield screen protector. That's it. I hate cases. I used this method on the iPhone 7 plus, iPhone 8 and now the Xs. Unbox therapy did a video on them. Now I don't worry about bumping into hammers 😂

Excellent tips! Completely agree with the Apple leather case. Been using it since the iphone 6. I should mention I've never broken a phone, cracked a screen, chipped a corner, I mean nothing, since I've had an iphone 4.

Excited to try it out on the XS Max! Interestingly, my 8 Plus almost fit into the case, but obviously didn't because of the vertical camera bump. The XS Max case is ever so slightly thicker.

To power it down you can do volume up volume down then hold the power button aswell. Also the orangey tone color that’s advertised on the internet is slightly different from the actual color. I suggest going to your nearest apple store, Best Buy, target, etc, and look at the color.

i got mine yesterday and right out of the box i applied a tempered glass screen protector and eased it in a clear case as to not get it scratched lol.... That's even before turning it on and setting it up lol

First thing I did: worked out how to change SIMs (I've never done that before I've always managed to get someone else to help me). Based on the videos I looked up, my impression is that the SIM is not the same way around in the XS as in earlier iPhone models. Second thing I did: buggered applying the screen protector. It's still got some bubbles.

Add another one which must be mentioned whenever anyone get's a new phone. On iPhone, go to the health app and fill in the medical ID information. This way the emergency services, who most likely can't unlock your phone, can atleast see your name and the person they should be contacting in case of emergency. This is crucial for when people get into an accident and dont have a wallet with proper id on them.
