If you have Kohli and Samson in the same team, then you can't have Riyan Parag because all of them bat at the same tempo (in fact, Parag has the lowest strike rate among the three). You need someone who goes at a higher tempo in the middle overs and turbo-charges the innings. Someone like Rajat Patidar

It is a myth that Virat only changed himself in 2nd half because in 1st game vs Chennai, he was coming back to cricket after more than 2 months and got to play only 3 to 5 balls in first 4 overs and only about 8 balls in first 6 overs so he just did not get any chance to go big and then Bangalore lost 4 wickets in quick succession, in 2nd game vs Punjab, he was exceptional, vs Kolkata, he tried very very hard to hit boundaries but in last 4 odd overs, he kept getting decived by slower balls so not intent, his execution was the problem, against Rajasthan, other than from 98-100, his intent was pretty good so it was not a great innings but was still an average knock, vs Mumbai, he had a horrible day as he kept trying to hit almost every ball for boundary but couldn't and finshed with 3 off 8 balls, against Hyderabad, he scored 42 off 20 balls and then in 7th match vs Kolkata, scored 17 off 6 balls so overall his intent even in 1st half was great, just that execution was slightly lesser than 2nd half.

Personally think he's the best t20 batter in the world.

Really wished that Varun and Venkatesh was part of the Indian squad going to play in the USA. Narine especially bowled economically in the Major League Cricket for LAKR and for Windies in the tour against Ind in 2019. I think the pitches would be relatively good for batting and more or less similar to the pitches played in the CPL. Considering the fact that similar pitches of the CPL, narine is ALWAYS literally unplayable for TKR so he could have set the tournament alight

The team balance which comes out so good in this, and does not need an impact sub is because of the great Sunil Narine Opening for you! If all the team openers start bowling consistently, you just are in very good state. No Need for impact sub at all.
