So I’m thinking of doing this course in the kent police department (if that helps) and I’ve got a couple questions 1 so on the kent police website it says 19 weeks so is that 19 weeks straight or does it include weeks off such as a half term and those things 2 when you start training do you get paid and if so what’s a rough estimate of the salary 3 do you have to pay for your uniform 4 when u said it was a 2 year course does that include the probation? Or how is it spread out 5 so tell me if I’m wrong but I’d assume that there will be exams on various different things, are those exams all done at the end of the course or are they spread out 6 on the exams that aren’t roleplay exams, are they all multiple choice or will there be questions where you have to come up with something 7 when your given the uniform how many sets are you given and what happens if your uniform gets ripped or damaged in some way 8 when doing the role play do you need to be loud/assertive/confident as seen in media or can you be calm and collected and softly spoken

Loved this video. I was on the DCDHEP route (pending passing the fitness test) but WMP have reintroduced this route and have offered those who are still in onboarding to switch over, I’ve opted to switch over :-) Which books would you recommend? .. I’m a book hoarder lol!!

I am 30+ and been out of study for 20 years . I am applying for the Ipldp and hope I can adjust to classroom study. What happens if you fail the knowledge checks? Can you extend the training until you pass or do they let you go

To become a police officer do you need to memorize the law like everything?

Hi, you need to have a really good understanding of police law and legislation 😊 you'll get taught that in training though
