One other problem that I faced, is that I was unable to delete the drive D, since it contained system files. For that, I opened advanced system settings --> Advance Tab --> setting in performance section --> advance tab --> change in section "virtual memory" --> check off "automatically manage paging file size for all drives" --> turned on "no paging file" --> set and close of windows --> restart your system --> then I followed your video. It worked perfactly. I suggest, please add this procedure as well to solve another unsolved mystery. thanks.

Thank you. I had cloned a 1tb drive to a 8tb drive and it created a 1tb partition so i wasn't sure if extending would delete the files. For anyone in my situation it does not delete the files. Follow the video and press extend and "Next" until it finishes extending and it will add the remaining storage to the partition.

type diskpart in search engine use command list disk ( you need to know which disk you want to manage) - use command select disk x (x is disk that you want to manage) - use command list partition (show partition in disk ) - use command select partition x (x is partition that you want to manage type number) - use command delete partition override - that's all

Hi, had the same problem. You got to open cmd with admin, tap diskpart then tap select disk 0 witch is your c drive, then select the number of partition that is the recovery partition. You can see the number on the end, so tap select partition (5) in my case, then tap delete partition (5), then your good to go and extend your c drive sence there is no obstacle.
