Hello, mine didnt come with a power adapter were using poe. i plugged the ethernet cord to the proper port and its not turning on. the old phone wont turn on now either. what do i do?

Hi there! Please please please help me, I have a Yealink T21PE2, and I realized I need to plug it in to an ethernet port, but my wifi router is on the other side of my house, I bought an iogear GWU637 bridge so I don't have to plug it into my router. Now my phone just blinks "Obtaining IP address" and I don't know where to go from here, could you please help?

These Yealink T40P phones go offline several times a day and the display shows NO SERVICE. I have tried to contact Support with my VOIP server (YEGTEL - no response ever) and with Yealink and it seems the only fix is to buy a better phone. Each time I have to unplug the power, wait for it to reboot, and then reset the Day and Time. Sometimes I have to do this 4 times in one day. There is no warning except for a quiet phone and you only see NO SERVICE on the display. If you need a reliable phone that works this is not the one for you. Many Amazon reviews also say Yealink phones are junk. I just wish I had checked the reviews before buying these phones.

My company sent me a laptop, and not an old school tower. I’d this phone just not compatible with said laptop?

The phone needs to plug into the router or wireless box from your internet provider, as you probably connect to your laptop with wifi, the phone needs a wired connection. Which may be in a different room in your house or business.

I just upgraded my brand new T46S firmware. Now the default admin/admin password is gone and I’m locked out of the phone. Any ideas? Yealink help is useless.
