As a Japanese-American myself, I actually got excited and happy to hear your approximation of the Toji ads. I know you genuinely love and respect the Japanese culture and manufacturing so there is no offense taken. It is the Japanese philosophy “kaizen” that results in great Japanese-made tools and products. Thank you for supporting and introducing these Japanese tools to your audience.

Mr. CHAD, thank you for another informative pliers video. Again I have never heard of the IPS PLIER Company so I'm still learning from you. Thank you again & my best to Henry, TMP from N.J.

Man those IPS pliers are cool! I have never seen anything like that before. Those right angle channel locks style look like they would actually work really well. Awesome video man!

Good job cp. I like the bent nose slip joint also. Blue point had a pair in the 80's I found some also on the clearance rack at advanced auto I bought all that were available about three or four pairs.

I wonder if that bead blast chrome finish is a popular finish for Japanese tools, I have a couple pairs of Japanese pliers I believe from the 70s but possibly the early 80s that have the same finish.
@CPthetooladdict2 жыл бұрын
It's a popular thing for most Japan tools.

Masterforce makes some good decent products. I never knew that menards has the pistol style masterforce pliers, but I will say they make good decent hand tools for the money. I own a 100 someodd piece toolset from masterforce and had it since 2019, lightly used, several sockets in my set that I used more frequently and sometimes on impact drivers had some of their chrome peeling off slightly.

A little of subject, CP, but which japanese ratchet do you prefer the koken or nepros? I have a koken and I love it. I want the 1/4 sized 3/8 flex. However, I only have the dollhairs to buy one japanese ratchet, is why I’m asking your opinion. Many thanks for all that you do!

I have had nothing but bad luck with Mac pliers. Personally I think Cornwell pliers are the best for the price, but Snap-On plier handles are hands down the best in the industry.
