I don't subscribe to this line that bringing in players doesn't always make you better. Thing is you have a better chance of improving by bringing in better players than you do if you bring in no one. Also, it IS broken, Endo simply can't do what Slot wants from his double pivot, so the double pivot is broken until we improve there, also there's literally no backup to Salah, that's broken.

If they decide that there isn't a player on the market who suits their profile at the right price they won't do it which is in my opinion a good decision, signings don't determine improvement, last season we had an entirely new midfield, and we did well, this season we have a settled squad and players develop so I expect improvement. If you have 2 supercars why add a Toyota corolla to your collection it's doesn't add much value
