You can clamp the heater lines off before removing therms. Vice grips its vinyl tubing, and saves the water spraying out

Never buy a new replacement board---there are plenty of companies that will refurbish your circuit board at a fraction of the new price. Just do a "refurbish spa circuit board" search!
