Note: After a few more sessions the wheel rash went away and looks pretty comparable to other wheels. Must have just been the exterior coating and or heat.

I have two questions: 1- Do you recommend using an ultrasonic cleaner? 2- is it safe to use acetone on the white-bearing ball holder (the white plastic that holds the balls)?
@ThirtyandRollin2 жыл бұрын
Great questions but I honestly have not used an ultrasonic cleaner yet. I also can't say for sure if acetone is safe on that bearing shield.

I think they are great! Had a good time on them with Intuition liners. They may be even better with the stock liner being floppier for wizard skating.

Sound review dude, would also highlight as a pro for both frame and wheels is the lower costs. As to comments on appropriation, the wizard frames are stunning, but simply so few products out there, we need more companies like these.

What is your opinion about the Powerslide zoom pro lomax 110 ?
@ThirtyandRollin3 жыл бұрын
Great skates! Comes with nice UC wheels which alone is worth the higher price tag. It also has the MyFit 2nd Skin liner which is very nice. Still a shorter 243mm 3x110 frame but that's not always a bad thing for everyone.

I'm really not liking the spec of the new Iqon wheels. I like the fact they've done a load of different sizes, but they're all 85A supposedly even their smaller sizes like 58mm, 60mm etc. I know that's not uncommon for bigger wheels but for aggressive I don't get it. Curious how they last you though. Those frames look awesome, I am very tempted by the 4x100 🤤
@ThirtyandRollin3 жыл бұрын
Ya 85a is pretty soft for aggressive. The 4x100 is such a fun big wheel size!

What a weird frame....basically you need to be an aggressive skater who wants to do wizard moves? Seems like a pretty narrow target audience. I personally wouldn't want to use a frame adapter to fit my 165mm boots. Seems like it would add some height as well that's kind of unnecessary when there are other better 165mm frames available. The colors are kinda meh as well lol
@ThirtyandRollin3 жыл бұрын
It is a very specific frame indeed but great for that style of skating! More product options are always better than less. Also the frame with 165 adapter is the same as a 165 frame with the raised heel already in the frame. Only downside is it is 2 pieces so technically its not quite as strong as a single piece frame.
@jakobc19983 жыл бұрын
Wizard frames are also UFS so these probably fit in pretty well with that target audience. Plus they even expand the market by giving skaters on a tighter budget or who don't have an aggressive boot access to wizard style skating.
