Karen Gleason from MIT explained their hydrophobic coating could be applied to heat exchangers in steam generators (which provides most of the electricity in the US) and you would improve the power plant's overall efficiency by 3-5%. Whereas Otto Steinfeld is working on capturing CO2 from the air and not putting back in the air... (others who are also working on the idea include Klaus Lackner from Columbia and David Keith from Calgary).
