So, divorce in families and when grandparents don’t support the kids leads to serious depression in kids. God knows how well her mom took it and how well her paternal side of family behaved with her and her mother post their divorce.

Right, she looks unwell both physically and mentally. For a woman to look this ungroomed and disheveled in public, we can be sure that something is deeply wrong. Even the most emotionally distraught woman will usually slap on some makeup before leaving home. Ira's health has clearly fallen below the threshold of self-care. It is possible the lack of physical fitness is retarding her progress, but on the other hand, the depression probably kills her motivation to work on fitness. My guess is the Khan family has a genetic issue with mental health. Faisal Khan too has suffered from, and arguably still suffers from something like this. So has Imran Khan.
