Everyone has said it but it bears repeating, Kim Cattrall is excellent at this.

Kim Cattrall is excellent at this, I agree. Loved the different voices she gives the characters. Awesome read!

Light years away from that Sex In The City stuff. Stories like this give actors genuine opportunities to invest themselves in characters.

@@purdy9170 Yes - she played his daughter in The Return of the Musketeers, and appeared with him two or three times in other films etc. He says in his biography that he thought she was 'very good'. I saw Mannequin on video rental when I was 11 and never really recovered from the experience, so while I've not precisely followed Ms Cattrall's career at all of its stages nor has she ever left my radar. And I've watched Police Academy far more times than is really healthy.

I will NEVER listen to A.I. Actors like Kim Cattrall , Henry Goodman, Tim Curry, Kathy Bates , and Whoopi Goldberg (readers of Stephen King stories) provide inflection, emotion and humanity that A.I. will never be able to replicate.

A wonderful listen. Only would have preferred the unabridged version of the novel. Kim was ideal narrator ❤
@mysteriousmagpie7 ай бұрын
I sympathise re the point about unabridged readings; almost invariably the readings I upload come from serialised BBC broadcasts which are almost invariably abridged... Some of them are very good - for example Kim Cattrall's performance here - but sadly not available in an unabridged form.

I wonder why the author has the Kennedy's in the story - only briefly, but strange. It took multiple viewings to realize a woman in the film is supposed to be Mrs. Kennedy's in one scene. And yes, Miss Cattrall is divine 🍸

Rosemary's Baby ... I saw the movie several times ... and I read the book once. There were a few parts in this reading that were not in the movie or the book. And, the final scene had dialogue that absolutely was not there ... and the words that Rosemary said to the baby didnt seem to me like what Rosemary would have said.

Will you guys stop putting old news at the beginning of the audiobook? This is not the 1940's where you put in newsreels of the war before you start a movie! It's dumb and irritating! Stop it, okay? Otherwise a good listen to the legendary Kim Catrall! 👍👍👍
