Love the Great Escape story where the South Armagh Brigade sent some guys up in a van with a load of gear to meet up with the escapers and if necessary bust their way through army road blocks etc. to get south.

32:08 Joe Dougherty( my spelling is probably wrong) I think this is the guy Sammy the bull talked about meeting in jail. Sammy the Bull briefly talked about meeting an IRA man in jail. During one of Sammy's live Q&A episodes, I asked him if he knew the story of the IRA man. He said his name was Joe Dougherty. He said Joe fled NI to America and the IRA reached out to the American Mafia for help. They got him a new identity and a bartending job in Manhattan. Eventually the feds attract him down.

If it's a book of the escapes, why is Larry Marleys escape not in it? Brendan the Dark had a brilliant escape too was away for a while. Martin Meehan escaped with 2 other comrades right after the kangaroos. Big Arny escaped from the Maze too
@paulmcgrath61182 ай бұрын
A coach driver I worked with , Rooney , helped the lads help get of the maze. I worked with him when the film came out . He shared a cell with Marley but they didn’t get along. Disappointed he wasn’t featured in the film as he made fake prison officer uniforms for them but didn’t break out himself. Neither did Marley

Loughgall crew could have done with a great escape. it wasnt a Grwat escape just a Great day. I Suppose loiking back at 1000,s of innocent peoples funerals it must all have felt such a worthwhkle cause, the hunger strilers loughall being set up with Adams now that there still no united ireland and its more british now than the day you started. The bosses are working for the british goverment and paid by the state. more informants than members when ya think about it, everything that was agreed could have been agreed 25 years ago. Did ANYONE ever stop to consider how the IRISH Goverment was going to find the money to fund another 6 counties when you look at the state of the place they already have. now theese evil serial killers are making posts like they were some type of public heroes ha ha only in n ireland

No evidence for Adam's setting up LG...you read it in the mainstream media.... extraordinary claims need extraordinary evidence..... economic interest was the reason the north was gerrymandered......only way of seeing for sure if it works is by trying and not in the unionist lexicon
