Nice podium! Also a good reminder not to pat yourself on the back until you see that checker in your rear view 😂 Ive been grinding SR this week so I was almost thinking of skipping this week of PCC but now that Im back to 2.5 it might be time to get wet.

End of the day mate it was a podium for you you was lucky at the end, I have not tried the rain yet every time I have I have done a practice I soon get fed up with of track John was very unlucky with the first lap I think he might have gave you a run for your money .

@@SmithersSimRacing Yeah it would have been close I think. Like I said in commentary, he had a stormer of a lap, but after that, I felt we were evenly matched during the race 👍🏻 Try and stick with the rain mate, I know it’s frustrating at times, but it’s great fun and really rewarding. I never liked the rain in the F1 games of years gone by, but I’m getting quite used to it in iRacing. I understand it a little more than I did before

Well that was eventful! You did an Houdini act on avoiding all the carnage, or was that Alfonso 😬 i was planning this race later on in the week...not so sure now tbh rain scares me

Give it a go mate, don't be scared of the rain, you just need to get out there and the more experience you gain the more confident you'll get. You just need to really try to feel where the grip is and once you find it, you'll start to build the confidence 👍🏻

@@John74YT yeah, when I watched the replay back the white car that overtook me before Cascades wasn’t where it was at the time of driving so I guess it was a graphical / net code thing when he was on me and then not. Very strange indeed

Good run out. Managed to survive a lot of carnage. Pity about the last couple of incidents, but it didn't hurt the result.

Yeah, I agree they didn't hurt the result, but it's still a kick in the teeth the way I threw it away after a good drive for ~75% of it
