Just have to report back. I have been crushing starts, gaining 1-2 places every single time in rookies with this method. Absolutely crazy. Thanks!

@@kedr0n that's awesome to hear! Congratulations on nailing those starts

Okay, just so I understand the inputs here: 1. Hold max throttle, clutch pedal, and launch trigger button together 2. Let go of launch trigger (still holding down max clutch pedal and throttle) 3. Let off of clutch pedal completely once revs start increasing (happens around 4k with this method). Is all that right?

Hi, thanks for this but I don’t seem to be able to get it to work on my dual clutch pedal setup. Do you still setup the Second Clutch under Controls tab in iRacing Option, or do you leave it as ‘Unassigned’? I am using Simagic FX Pro steering with dual clutch pedals but can’t seem to get this to work. Appreciate your advise, thanks.

Hey Mate, i use the Simagic GT Neo and was also struggeling: Here how i did it; 1. Simpro manager (simagic software): Unlock the Sync button 2. Iracing > Drive: Launch trigger = clutch pedal left + 44% bitepoint 3. Iracing > Control: Second clutch right With the start> drop the left at once, and the right one when needed.. You can also leave the bitemark and use the Simpro manager: sync the buttons and set ratio to a %

why is it when i do it my revs only go down to "5" and not "4"? i did this a bit while back but i cant seem to get it working now.
@KFox2102 ай бұрын
@@alexie-1844 the update has bite point variance now so it will be different for each session. You might need to do a few practice starts at the start of practice or the end of Qualifying to find the perfect point now. It's usually in between a range of 1-4% up or down
@alexie-18442 ай бұрын
@ from 44% ? and when would i know that it is perfect?

exactly what i needed TYSM!

is 44% perfect for mazda mx5? how you figure that out, prob with a dual clutch wwheel cause with the ol logitech g29 you cant do that. but also what about other cars, this gives people with better wheels an unfair comp advantage unless optimal setups are posted about bitepoints for each car
@KFox2102 ай бұрын
I found it out by trial and error started in scales of 5% then fine tuned it. Will I ever do all the cars ehhh idunno The iRacing launch control trigger is there now to help.
@joeroganpodfantasy422 ай бұрын
@KFox210 I just found out this season the bite point is variable so now it's random launch Trigger is almost useless
@PaoloDentiАй бұрын
@@joeroganpodfantasy42what do you mean by variable? Do you mean that same car same season it changes every race?

Nice! I found 44 works best for me 43 was good too it was just .02 slower on my end. But that range is very good to cut out the bogged down part
