New to iRacing and struggling hard, I don’t get how you go full throttle without the car oversteering…. As soon as I start pressing out of a corner the car starts to over steer

You need to develop the feel of the car’s weight distribution. Takes time. At a guess I would say you have too much steering angle applied, or the car is off-balance when you’re hitting the throttle. Maybe try going slower on the throttle application, too.

@@FindingSpeedthink the car being off balance might be the issue, this mainly happen when I go off line… Car just feel way too sensitive and stiff…. I read about slip angel and it seem you used that in your video a lot which is why your driving seem so smooth. Right now I’m hitting 1:50-1:52 goal is 1:48 for now

@user-vd2cg5lc1g less is more with steering on entry to corners. You might notice in my track guides that I do initial steering, straighten up the wheel somewhat and only really go full steering angle once I’m by the apex. You’ve just got to experiment with controlling the weight shifting in the car to your advantage. It comes with time and practice. Good luck!

The best way to brake with gt3 is to never use more than 80% of the brakes? Like the mx5?

That used to be the case, but you’re now able to go into ABS for a brief period during threshold braking. It’s still better for the car and tyres to stay around 80%, but it’s no longer a golden rule. Go 100% if you have to, just don’t keep it there too long!

I'm improving from 1.54 to now avg 1.51 per lap after this video. In order to be competitive, you have to be 1.45 to 1.47. I'm not sure I can get there.
