That was on me 100%. I could’ve waited a little longer and got the cut back elsewhere. Tiniest of the contacts and 💥 I usually wait and give back the position in these situations. That’s why I went wide into the next corner so the Porsche could pass me and retake the place. Didn’t see him coming in the rear mirror & I thought he quit the game or something. Also, I couldn’t catch the driver’s name at that time. Tense race & I enjoyed it. Shame for that contact 😒

Your splits are getting tougher, good close racing! I think the move was on under the Porsche no issue, he didn't see you (or no spotter?) and closed down. I would love to see manditory spotter for online racing. This happens far to often, people simply not aware of their surroundings. I couldn't race without a spotter (Jim) He and I have many heated conversations mid race. 😁

Sorry for the late response.. Monday is kicking my ass 😂 It sure is matey… it sure is getting tougher 😅 But the fun is increasing every race 🏁🏁 Entry list was showing div 6 for me & rest of the drivers were div 3 & div 4 😱 That could’ve been a cut back easily in the next few corners or even on the uphill section for sure. So… I was wrong all this time… the current in game spotter isn’t Jim ? 🤨🤔 He was saying we’re looking good here 😂

@@SlicksandSlipstream Don't apologise, I'm just wasting work hours on the interwebs today! Jim is refering to the default spotter in the CrewCheif app (free). Highly recommend, you can completly customise the setup, frequency and even adult language he uses when reminding you how bad you're doing. 🤣

That's from crewchief app. I kept wondering why isn't my spotter saying things I hear on other iRacer's streams / videos 🤣Gonna take a look at that today if possible. Im going to try the adult aggressive spotter to see what I get when I mess up 😝 There's so many add ons & that's crazy. Probably I'm the only person out here not using any of those xD

Don't think you have to feel that bad about the contact. I understand feeling bad because you took the position while he was stuck behind the slower Mustang, but he had all the space on the outside and could have made the corner no problem. You were far on the inside and even if you went more on the kerb he would have touched you. I think it was a bad mistake from the other driver in the heat of the moment, no ill intent.

Haha yeah one of those close racing moments, but I’d still love to have a race with no contacts. A little rubbing is fine, but close racing side by side without contact gives me a lot of satisfaction 😄 The mustang is a huge tho. Nonetheless the race was super fun 🤩 Thanks for taking the time out of your day to stop by the channel to watch the video & dropping a comment.. Really appreciate it 👊

Pretty sure #1 Ferrari at start made illegal start. You’re not supposed to drop back and gain an advantage like that. Also thought you can’t pass before the line. That little bump in the back by Porka gave you diffuser damage. car looked loose after that. And that guy closed the door on you. you were clearly at the apex and he turned in on you. his fault. where are you supposed to go? you showed the same move on previous laps. I would have been watching for it.

I had the same thought like how ?!! there’s no way any car has that great launch off the line or has to be a godly skilled driver 😂😂 I almost passed the leader in one the races hehe 😆 For me the bump didn’t affect me as much compared to the barrier encounter I had a few races ago bro. That’s kinda sus 🤨 Yet to figure many things in iRacing. Gosh, that gave me a mini heart attack thinkin I may have caused a pile up behind 😂 Close racing sure does get feisty at times. These race give me the feel good energy to race more. Sadly, I get hardly 1 hour to put in the sim per day or a few days per week 😢 FeelsSadMan.
