This King's Guard is a credit to his unit and a shining example of the best of England. There are at least two other different KZbin videos in which, like shown here ( 0:09 ), this young man shows his kindness, empathy and compassion towards young people with special needs while having their picture taken with him. By acknowledging their presence rather than ignoring them and acting like a robot, he is letting us see the human side under all that fancy uniform and rigid exterior. While his kind gesture may seem to some as contrary to regulations, in my book this young King's Guard is a source of price for his peers and his country by showing his compassion towards other human beings. I'd honored to shake his hand!

This is the same guard that fixed the reins on a horse in another video. After he was through, he petted the horse, then the horse gave him a kiss, and he gave the horse a kiss. Love this guy!

I too have noticed the kindness of this Guardsman (as well as his reaction to disrespectful and ignorant tourists) - he will also plant a kiss on the nose of a horse on guard duty outside Horse Guards on Whitehall. Love that ! Decent bloke !!

I have so much respect for this guard, this is the second time I've seen him slide closer, so that a child can get a better picture with him! Twice, I've seen him in video's visiting the guards and he is in dress cloths, A very well dressed young man! I love seeing the guards in plain cloth's and getting to see them laugh and carry on when they do visit the working guard's!

It makes me laugh to see people react quickly, especially to his loud voice.😁, I've also seen him in civilian clothes, very elegant and smiling.... He's a charismatic presence..😍. I also really enjoy seeing his colleagues outside work, it's really nice to get to know them in a different way when they visit their colleagues on duty.
