Iran 2017 Part 1 In the north with the ancient Great Wall

This 12-day trip through Iran is the result of years of close collaboration between the German Waterhistorical Association (DWhG) and the National Irrigation and Drainage Commissions of Iran and Germany. The cooperation between the Ostfalia University, Campus Suderburg, Germany and the Sari Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources University Iran have been raised to a new level during this trip.

Thanks for the video, I am Iranian but the last time I was in north eastern part of Iran was 25 years ago. You just made a video as it is expected from a highly educated university teacher. A video with curious eyes but no arrogance at all.

این خانه قشنگ است ولی خانۀ من نیست این خاک چه زیباست ولی خاک وطن نیست آن دختـــــــــرِ چشم‌آبیِ گیسوی‌طلایی طناز و سیه‌چشــم، چو معشوقۀ من نیست آن کشور نو، آن وطــــنِ دانش و صنعت هرگز به دل‌انگیـــــزیِ ایران کهن نیست در مشهد و یزد و قم و سمنان و لرستان لطفی است که در کَلگری و نیس و پکن نیست در دامنِ بحر خزر و ساحــــل گیلان موجی است که در ساحل دریای عدن نیست در پیکر گل‌های دلاویــــز شمیران عطری است که در نافۀ آهوی خُتن نیست آواره‌ام و خسته و سرگشته و حیران هر جا که رَوَم، هیچ کجا خانۀ من نیست آوارگی و خانه‌به‌دوشی چه بلاییست دردی است که همتاش در این دیر کهن نیست من بهر که خوانم غزل سعدی و حافظ در شهر غریبی که در او فهم سخن نیست هر کس که زَنَد طعنه به ایرانی و ایران بی‌شبهه که مغزش به سر و روح به تن نیست پاریس قشنگ است ولی نیست چو تهران لندن به دلاویزی شیراز کهن نیست هر چند که سرسبز بُوَد دامنۀ آلپ چون دامن البرز پر از چین و شکن نیست این کوه بلند است، ولی نیست دماوند این رود چه زیباست، ولی رود تجن نیست این شهر عظیم است، ولی شهرِ غریب است این خانه قشنگ است، ولی خانۀ من نیست زنده‌یاد دکتر خسرو فرشیدوَرد
