Iran trip 2017 - Part 3 - Isfahan and surroundings. Iran has a generally little known high culture and is largely ignored by tourists. During our 12-day trip, we got to know a country that has a lot of sights, is very inviting in everyday life and reveals a real treasure with the everyday hospitality of its people. I was there in 77-78 with Bell Helicopter. Stay a month in the hotel(Sheraton?) by the 33 arch bridge where I spent a lot of time looking at the river(we called it the PO) when it had water. Next to the hotel was a Korean restaurant with great Argentine beef. I learned to love KIT KAT bars there before they were sold in the states. We called the bazaar "the Souk" I am trying to get a visa to go back.
